Hi all, I have a 64 Octavia 2.0 Black edition, im I right in thinking that my car may have a recall on it? The reason I've looked is this and it's a strange one. I had my or was told my cam changed when I reported a strange noise coming from the area, however I don't know if Skoda Ashford actually did this as they don't give any paperwork and could be unrelated. But and here is the strange part. This was about 8 months ago and since then whenever I drive the car in sport mode the car overheats quickly whenever on the motorway or a roads at speed. As if the water pump turns off at speed. Every time I put the car back to eco and carry on and the car cools with low revs and then won't come back at hight revs in eco. This is strange as! I've not taken it in as I believed that they will just try to charge me the earth for something I don't think is my fault so to speak. So I just don't use sport mode!. Is this where others get the problem or should I try get it done as a recall or just be an all time eco driving driver?

That's music to my ears (unlike the droning) I have it booked in for a summer check on Monday and I wanted to be pre armed for if i get a NO. Thank you Just need to see if I can get a reverse sensor pushed back into it's slot. God knows how it fell inside the bumper.

Hears my 2.0 TDI CR 150 (Black Edition) Just sold my 1.8T VRS 02 (very sad to let it go) replaced with this beast. Was going to get another VRS but this car just stood out to me.

Hi, I have a MK III octavia (black edition) are wheel bearings under warranty? The car is a 64 plate but only 2 1/2 years old The clock is on 57000. I know Skoda do 3rd year warranty at up to 60000 or 3 years. Am I covered????? There is defiantly a repetitive droning noise coming from one of my rear wheels except when the load isn't on that side as I turn. Any help would or advice would be gratefully received.

Hi! I'm currently replacing my middle section and back box section on my octavia vrs mk1. I have managed to source the middle section for about £35. However I can't find a back box for less than £150!! If anyone could help me out even with a second hand one in good condition I would be very greatful! I absolutely love this car and can't bare to hear it sound so bad!!!!
