  1. Thank you so much!! This is what I was looking for
  2. Hi, If you look at this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Skoda-Octavia-Superb-Heater-Climate-Control-A-C-Genuine-3T0820047H-2009-2013-/381685434234?hash=item58de39877a:g:1dUAAOSwgY9XcnEE&vxp=mtr So there must be just faceplate over it witch I can just pry off, right?
  3. Don't think I have courage to go further without any instructions. But I'm quite sure I would have to pry of cover over the climatronic control unit. But don't know where to start... It is really weird that this model was in produce from 2007 to 2015, and there are so few instructions on many things. Like interior. And nobody knows. Superb owners won't fix or "tune" their cars, I think.

  5. Hi, How do I remove climate control panel after removing my Amundsen and it's trim? Would like to take USB from my DVD player to the ash tray...
  6. Do I connect that amplifier to the ANT-CON -wire? Does that provide 12v? I'm buying this one: http://www.motonet.fi/fi/tuote/471160/Antennivahvistin-autoon-12V It needs 12v, and ground.
  7. Hi, It does display climate control and parking sensors, but no navigation on Maxidot. There was no radio amplifier included, I think I'll have to get one then. Thank you for your help.
  8. Now I've installed my Joying head unit. And it works great! It has pre-installed iGo navigation software with offline navigation. Europe map included, but it needs SD-card for updating maps. And yes, I can use Google Maps offline. After changing HU I have no more navigation directions on Maxidot, but didn't even used it with my Amundsen. Only problem now is bad radio reception, but it can be fixed by isolating antenna cable. Microphone which is built in the HU is quite bad, so I have to install external microphone to the roof. Steering wheel keys works as well.
  9. I know, but I'm on an impression that one of those 4 is really hard to remove? The one under opening mechanism?
  10. I know that it seems outdated on paper, but everything seems to work smoothly, and that's what I really want. My friend has one of these, and only complain has been screen visibility on bright sunlight and some BT-issues. But I'm going to find out myself in few days.
  11. Yeah. And really hoping that this new hardware is ready for even further. Those older 4.4 devices can't be updated to 5.1 without hardware upgrades. Altough CarJoying gave required hardware for 4.4 users, they only had to pay for posting fees. Really like Joying, it seems that they really support their customers, and bringing updates.
  12. Hi, I just bought this one: https://www.carjoying.com/android-5-1-car-stereo/volkswagen-android-5-1-car-stereo/joying-2016-latest-aftermarket-european-warehouse-lollipop-android-5-1-1-car-head-unit-autoradio-quad-core-double-din-gps-navigation-system-stereo-radio-support-reverse-camera-dvr-goo.html Going to install it on wednsday. I was really dissapointed when I found out how much map updates cost to RNS-315 and RNS-510. And I love Android. Only winter time in Finland makes me worry, wonder if this unit from Chine can cope with -30 degrees celcius...
  13. Hi, In glove box will be two USB-cables: my 4G modem in one and USB plug for USB-memory. I really would like to know if there is another way than drilling a hole...
  14. Hi, does anyone know is there a way to wire USB-cable from behind my new DVD-player to glove box without removing glove box? Or is there any other good place to route my USB-cable? My car is 2012 Superb Estate, current player is Amundsen+. Thanks.
