HI, ive recently purchased a 1.4 fabia, everything was grand untill I run out off fuel , now when I try and start the car the immboliser is kicking in, is there a fix without going too the stealers ps the key has been replaced with an audi key, the orginal key opens the doors but doesnt operate the ignition thanks in advance tommy

the dealer IS replacing the rear axle, plus throwing a set off rear tyres. RESULT

2006 skoda superb a friend has the above car and has been bringn it back and forth too the dealers with a complaint '' like driving with flat tyres'', to be told by the dealers that there was nothin wrong. after noticing that the tyres at the rear were wearing away in the inside he went to a tyre dealers too check rear wheel alingnment to be told that the rear axle is the cause and it needs replaced. Is it true that rear axles are not covered under warranty. Car has 60,000 miles with full dealer S/H

over the phone, the mechanic thinks it could be the pulley at the end of the alternator (says its motorised). but when you pul;l the belt tighter it works fine

2004 skoda superb 1.9 my belt has been squeaking, but now its not turning, there is a lot of slack on belt, is there an adjuster on these, is it easy to do. about approx 6 mths i replaced the belt and tensioner any clues, it doesnt look likme any tensioner are faulty

recently my superb is lossing its speed especially on tackling hills, someone has said it could possibly be air flow meter How could I test the air flow meter Also i have been running on occassions on bio-derv car has been recently serviced

iv'e tried bio-derv a few times with no loss off power etc

2004 skoda superb 1.9 Im a local taxi driver using approx 100 ltrs a off diesel week which cost approx £100, Ive seen that you can pour straight veg oil drectly into the tank, or with a slight mix which enables too cut costs, I dnt want too produce bio-derv, just looking a cheap and easy option 1 has any1 tried this 2 does this need to be mixed with anything 3 what MPG would you be likely too achieve thanks tommy

the metal lugs are unable too push out as the orginal plastic double case is still in place

I just changed my standard radio with a flip out tv/dvd, the problem is there is no were too secure the 'cage' too, is there any way off securing the unit. I drive a 2004 superb 1.9 thanks

My front window squeaks when going up and down, anyone encountered this problem I drive a 2004 superb 1.9

was he mixing the VEG oil or just pouring it straight in the t5ank. That would be some saving on todays prices

I have let the fuel run too empty and filled with normal diesel and it has improved. Regarding power/economy etc, normally bio-diesel is identical too normal diesel but cheaper. I reckon I have just encountered a bit off dirt in the fuel.

IM A CAB DRIVER AND TRIED THIS SEVERAL TIMES TODAY WITHOUT JOY, LEFT THE CAR FOR A FEW HOURS THERE NOW AND IT STARTF 1ST TIME. NOT TOO SURE OFF THE MIXTURE (OIL/CHIP FAT)

last night I put in £20 off bio-derv into my skoda superb 1.9tdi comfort. The reason for using the bio-derv was the price 82p compared to £109. but today the car was hard too start, approx 5-8 seconds before it would fire up. Do you reckon the bio is the cause, or is it just a concidence, it has never done this before so I am assuming its the bio. would you empty thye tank or just run it through, I have used bio derv on a few occasions in the past with no trouble, The car was last serviced 3,000 miles ago.

SKODA SUPERB 2004 I have bought a motorised dvd/radio for my superb which i have fitted, now I want too fit a digital freeview box, my dilemna is were do I place the box 1, in the glove box 2, under the dash 3, how you get the aeriel wired if in dash how do I get wires through and if under dash howe too get dash off thanks in advancetommy

it is 1.9tdi, I think 100bhp the work was done at an independent gargage also car has lost a bit off power

I have recently had my timing belt done and my MPG has dropped from 170/190 too 130/160 per £20 off fuel. Has the mechanic not re-timed or is the two matters just a conicidence thanks for any advice

I noticed the climatronic light is workin occassionally. coming on for a second or 2

do you think it could be the dimmer switch?

SKODA SUPERB 2004 TDI (100) i was actually checking fuses with engine still running?? the panel light dimmer remains hot too touch

the li8ghts on my isturment cluster, radio and climatronic have all disaperead. I have checked fuse NO's 5 and 15 as in the handbook they are the ovious choice. can any1 spread a bit pf light on this situation also whgen replacing fuse no 5 the passenger airbag light has stayd on, does any1 know what have been the cause thanks
