  1. Hi guys and gals. Been wanting to fit a catch can for some time now. Is it worth just getting a cheap Chinese one from eBay for like 20 quid or is it worth spending that bit extra for a half decent one. Also what else would I need to do the job isn't there something you have to delete/block off in the process. Thanks in advance. Mk1 vrs.
  2. Front mount intercooler fitted CAI fitted SAI pump removed with resistors in place Calipers and caliper carriers repainted Clay bar and polished Stage 2 remap next on list oh and cambelt and water pump

  5. Thanks for the reply great yeti. Unfortunately I'm using this site from my phone. Does this mean then I can only upload from pc or laptop. I do own one but just find things much quicker on my phone lol.

  9. I had to buy the same fuel pipes too as the guy I bought the car off did exactly the same. Cost me £79 for all 3 pipes and about 20 mins to fit. Mine were leaking badly though every time ignition was switched on or car was switched off. Drip drip drip drip.
  10. Yer I've seen some people say there a nightmare and others say there not too bad. Suppose when you've done one there ok. Had a quick look over the weekend with the bumper off anyway as I was fitting a new wing roughly mounted the intercooler just with tie raps and roughly fitted the bumper back on and just thought ner not in the mood for this lol.

  14. My mk1 vrs is currently pretty standard as I've only just bought it nice car though only got 78.000 miles on it too. It's already had a full induction kit fitted to it and with the car came a front mount direnza intercooler kit. I was just wondering what are they like to fit. I'm a mechanic anyway so I am capable I was mainly wondering about the bumper cutting etc is it a ball ache. Thanks in advance. Adam.
