I've had my 230 DSG since 19th Sept, I've done just over 600 miles of steady driving a 12 mile journey 4 times a day, and playing around using the revs up-to 4000 between gears 2-5, according to the entertainment system I have achieved 31.9 since I picked her up, I'm happy with that while she's bedding in, and eventually I would expect to see it no worse than my 100k mileage mk5 gti that could easily achieve up-to 40 mpg on a steady run. Loving it by the way

Car has officially landed in England, vrs 230 ordered 23rd May

Hey guys, ordered mine 23rd May, just been confirmed for week 33 build, so next week right? Dealer says I will have it by middle September

Why should they be allowed to put it in the brochure then, my dealer has now emailed me saying its in the brochure for illustration purposes, and may depict a car not as UK spec, so they come from the same factory but sent to each country different. Dealer has done all the options again online and doesn't say anything about choosing a spoiler colour so I can't have it. Does no one pick up a phone anymore!? Can a call not be made to someone to see if it is at all possible. Computer says no!

Hi guys/gals, My dealer is telling me the rear spoiler is only body colour coded, where as in the brochure there is a white hatch with black spoiler, as I have ordered white I really do want the black spoiler. Has anybody else got a colour coded spoiler or different colour? Big thanks Aslettd230

I was told by my dealer I'd be looking at a September delivery,if it is infact October then would I be able to cancel and get my deposit back?

Hi guys and gals, On the 23rd of May I ordered an Octavia vrs 230 dsg, no extras standard build. 2 days later the factory confirmed my order and deposit, but I still haven't had a confirmed build week, dealer says week 33, but he has said that since the beginning. Surely it's a long time to be waiting for a confirmation? Appreciate your responses guys and gals

Hi guys, currently waiting for my 230 to be built, I've owned my Fabia mk2 vrs for 2 and a half years, 11 plate, 52000 miles, original engine, 1 oil top up between services. Sweet as a nut. Will miss her. Hands down the liveliest little engine I've ever owned and I've had a mk5 gti before that

It's a dsg box. Also, I ordered mine on the 23rd May,had communication with dealer and gone from an expected build week of 36 and now brought forward to week 33, although this isn't fully confirmed yet. Seems a long time to confirm, also is it true that Skoda are having problems satisfying the demand of the 230? And also true the factory shuts down for all of July? Thanks Aslettd230

I thought i'd treat myself to a bday present in may so I ordered an Octavia VRS 230 dsg hatch. ive been given an approx. built date of week 36 (mid sept). soooo long! but ive been doing some research into how I should drive her when I collect. some people say thrash it for the first 100 miles, to bed everything in, then drive normal after that. would appreciate everyones advice/experience/views on this. cheers guys. aslettd230
