  1. I have a Superb, Same platform. They've been trying to do the update for 3 days now... Currently having issues with modules not working. They've had the car 6 weeks for other issues... I'd advise waiting a bit and letting them iron the issues out.
  2. Superb SEL 1.5 PHEV - Delivered 18th December, Currently on 21000 miles and has been a problem child unfortunately Went to the Dealer 30th May for a bad vibration under deceleration, Failed rear engine mount. Always on back order, failed to install 1st time round and had to order parts again. Have to wait on special tooling. Meant to have received the car back today but 0 communication from the dealership. Throws up random fault codes (Sensor related). Car will go into neutral at times when setting off from junctions. Very jerky when taking up drive... All in all not been the best experience. Also maps on the digital drivers cockpit still not working from my understanding unless the latest software update that is causing other issues resolves this. It's a lovely car when it works/isn't with the dealer. Just a shame it's full of software issues and a strange failed engine mount and multiple failed attempts at fixing it so far.
  3. Interior light is a known issue throughout the VAG Group. A colleague has had this on their Cupra. They replaced it under warranty.
  4. Thought I'd give some honest feedback on my Superb. Delivered 18th December 2024. Pros: Very pleasant to drive, Love the fuel economy when charges and running as a hybrid! Really impressive real world MPG on the motorway with 0% charge as well (Anywhere from 45mpg to 52mpg) Spacious, Ridiculous amounts of space! LOVE the smart dials. Great feature instead of EVERYTHING being through the display! Display is nice and responsive! Cons: Likes to throw up sensor faults Still no update for the maps to display on the digital display. Do have 1 big issue though. The car is currently immobile @ Skoda with a major issue and not willing to give me the car back due to it not being safe. The car is on 21,500 miles and has a failed rear engine mount... This was causing a horrible vibration on acceleration and deceleration and a thud upon taking drive up. Not ideal with such mileage and 90% of them being motorway miles! I suspect this is caused by a nasty lurch the car does when setting off in a morning. It's like someone is dropping the clutch and away you go, No matter how much throttle input you're using. I am really hoping they investigate this as the rear engine mount will fail again in sure. All the parts are on back order and the job requires specific tooling which my dealer are having to acquire. Overall my experience is mixed. I like the car, Really nice upgrade over the previous generation. I am just not sure on the engine/hybrid choice currently. My previous car was a 2022 Skoda Superb 2L TDi (AWESOME CAR) that never went wrong! This went back December 24 with 92k miles on and it was faultless. Hybrid owners, Keep an eye on this, If you feel a vibration, Get it checked!
  5. I cover multiple sites and they're all at least 65 miles from where I live - I drive more than I work Order is in, Will chase for an update on ETA once I get confirmation it's done - Will update one of the "ETA" posts once I hear back! Hopefully allows me a few more months in my V60!
  6. It's the roll off, just seems to loose it in technical songs - I'm maybe just being a little picky with it! Thanks for bringing this to my attention! I was hoping Skoda would have avoided this but after going on their website today, I see they now have a pop up stating their is a delay to new vehicles! I will come back to this once ordered (99% I will be ordering one) and let you know the "estimated" delivery time!
  7. We haven’t got to that discussion yet. Im assuming it’ll be 2-4 months with current wait times but I’m sure it could be longer due to the chip shortage. Do you have any information on lead times at all?
  8. Afternoon all, I'm on the verge of ordering A Superb Hatch as a new company vehicle - Having had a demo vehicle for a few days I am very impressed with comfort levels and the fuel economy for such a big car (67MPH on a 230mile run) My only gripe is the audio quality. Unfortunately not able to spec the Canton audio upgrade but after reading up on this pack it seems like it might actually not be worth the money anyway. I was wondering if anyone has yet to install an under seat sub as I find this is the main thing they lack and if it's possible yet with compatible conversion harnesses and so on? I am not entirely sure how the new 2021 models compare to the 2015/2016 as I've seen a few options for the slightly older models. Spending 35,000 miles a year in a car with poor audio doesn't sound like fun so if anyone has had luck with a audio solution or knows if it's possible at all, I'd love to hear from you! Coming from a V60 which has (In my opinion) the best standard audio set up I've heard from a car. Thanks, Josh.
