Hi, I appear to be having a similar problem. A couple of months back my windows stopped working, and after a week they started working again until today! I've tried everything in this thread and cannot get them to work, has there anything else it could be? I've tried the search too :p Thanks P.s - On top of that, the manual function and the automatic function have both stopped (and did so last time as well.)

Hi, I've been a member on here for a long time and always loved Skodas. However I haven't been very active for quite a while. I always wanted a VRS, and finally got one in October last year when my parents moved to Australia and I had the chance to buy their car. However I sold my mk2 golf to fund it, and having had 2 fabias previous to this one, I find myself wanting a mk2 golf again. The car has 1 previous owner (my dad) and now myself. It has full dealer history up until 2010. In 2011 it had it's service done at a local garage. In the last 2 weeks the service light has just come on, but I am not driving it much at all so I haven't bothered servicing it, knowing I will be selling it asap. The car is in overall good condition and totally standard, but there are a few very small cosmetic faults which I have tried to capture on the images below. 1. Light dent on passenger front wing (can't really get a picture of it) 2, Light scratch/chip on front bumper, again I've tried to capture this. 3. Small hole in rear bench. Other than those general wear and tear faults, the car is very good. Front bumper scratchchip Dent on front passenger wing Rear bench hole I've looked on auto trader, and the cheapest one I could find with this amount of miles was about £5600, but I think that is mentally unrealistic. As I've already purchased my replacement car, I'd ideally need to sell up quick, therefore I have priced the car at : £4200 or very nearest offer. Update: I got in touch with the person who authorizes CCTV viewing, but apparently because it is private and personal information for anyone in the CCTV I may have to get permission to view it die to the data protection act :s Now the lady who drove into me is wanting to see it as well, result, will prove my innocence. But ultimatly she is denying responsibility and is claiming she was on her side of the road and that the guy that was in front of her said he had to swerve to miss me as well :/ I'm sorry but this guy is seriously getting to me... from what he is saying I was either: 1) Stationary - because if he had to swerve whilst coming round the corner, the it would impossible for me to still be there when she came round it - bearing in mind in the pics I wasnt even at the corner yet! OR 2) Spatial Warp - I somehow drove to the position and past where I was in those pictures as he passed me, then in a split second warped myself, the passenger and my car back 15 meters and drove along the same stretch again where this time this lady drove into me... Somehow I don't think his story is going to stand up :P

Haha, yea it's just dirty and the light! It's most definitely red! The damage to the BMW was literally a scrape and thats it. I'll get a picture of mine up tomorrow for everyone!

Haha, I thought as much, I was seriously annoyed! I'm going to get onto the insurance comapny again and make sure they are fully awware I am taking 0% blame no matter what. The entire situation has me raging hard and I'm not happy at all.

Just a quick thread becasue I have to shoot out, but I'd like to hear peoples opinions on insurance companies and weather I'm 50% at fault here. Brief outline: Was driving in the car park straight on when another driver pulled out of a 't-junction' (debatable) and clipped the side of the fabia. Simply put she misjudged the corner and ended up clipping my car. The damage doesn't look that bad in the pics, but to be fair it is considerable. I will come to this point in a second Ultimate shot of place Where she came from Now after I got out of the car and asked for insurance details and I was writing down mine, someone came running over saying that I was at fault and that she souldn't claim liability! This is just after she was appologising for hitting me! The guy said I was far too far over... and honest to god I didnt move the car for the pictures, I got straight out. God knows what this guy wanted to get involved for, but he said he just had to swerve and miss me in the exact same place... but how can this be I was moving?! Anyway that penis is irrelevant really as I should be able to get cctv. I went to the police and reported it and also rang the insurance company. All well and good... But my insurance company said pictures arent any good because it doesnt show who was encroaching on whos path (I never said anything about someone saying I was too far over or anything) But CCTV was good enough, but if I cant get a hold of CCTV it will probably go 50/50?! I am actually raging right here in my chair... You can see in the pics how close I am to the end of the parking bays... I was going in a straight line at a very slow speed on an uninterupted road, and someone misjudges a corner and hits me, but it's 50% my fault?! Surely MY insurance company should be saying, Don't worry Luke we are 100% on your side unless proven that you are the guilty party... Where on earth do they get off with the first thing they say is 50/50?! What the hell do we pay them for?! /RANT + RAGE

Right, filled in the V62 and also the V890 Hoping that I can take them down to the DVLA local office just to get them checked, then I can send them off. I have PM'd the previous registered owner on ED38 as when I called DVLA, although they cant give me any information, they did inform me that the previous registered owner will be the one to receive a fine, if any. I've informed him of this, but has decided to ignore it (you can tell when they were last active) His loss, not mine, I have let him know after all.

Just spoke to the DVLA and at the moment I cannot do anything, only the person who sold the car to me, or even before that can find out what's going on :(
