  1. Hey gang, does anyone have any side protection strips fitted to their fab 3, if so any chance to if a pic? The wife's interested but I'm kind of thinking with the shape etc that it maybe a waste of time as the different shapes etc of other cars means it's only going to protect the door if i open it into something. (Which isn't very likely ????) As usual any help mucho appreciatedo ???? ????
  2. Lol thought exactly the same, plenty of tar removers on the market, dodo tarmalade is very good. Likewise try clay or iron x. Only other thing I could think of is overspray from the black roof or something? Weird lol
  3. Looking good, hope they have lights like the black/grey pics above, with the rear lights on the bottom blue one and the overall look just make me think of range rover!
  4. Climate control rocks, se temp and auto and off you go. Cruise control works fine, don't know about the adaptive side of it though, don't think I would trust it.
  5. Yeah looks like someone has opened their door into yours. As above park away from others if possible, a small walk is better then a dent. There are plenty of dent removal guys out there but I think as its on the crease your going to have issues.
  6. Lol I have that to! Although thinking yours might be more severe lol
  7. No idea on the warranty/agreement side of it im afraid however..........would have thought if you went to a proper place (Not Halfords) they could certainly do an installation and removal at the end of the agreement that no one would be able to tell any different. Plus if done right you wont see any cables etc at all. Just a thought
  8. No idea im afraid, seems like a lot of money for what could be a quick scan over your shoulder Could always try these as an alternative: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/251613766207?lpid=122&chn=ps&googleloc=9045629&poi=&campaignid=620865095&device=c&adgroupid=27378760866&rlsatarget=pla-181484342946&adtype=pla&crdt=0
  9. Im sure have seen this before where there is a paint code for the colour of the wheels and no doubt skoda should be able to supply it. Failing this as said above Halfords gloss black touch up will prob do the job
  10. Thx for all the help guys/gals your all awesome.
  11. +1 That's the nail on the head right there.
  12. vc-10 above makes a very good point, if you stretch to the SE then its got to be worth it as also said above the fitting costs for this aftermarket are going to be astronomical
  13. Stealthily popped into main dealer today and checked there showroom model and it was the same oh well not the end of the world but I am surprised at the quality.
  14. Just a quick queery, noticed today that my bonnet release lever in the passenger footwell seems really quite loose and flimsy, the lever pulls strong enough and does its job but the plastic seems almost not fitted correctly. Also on the back of the lever on the top bit there seems to be a large hole but after looking on line at other models etc seems there should possibly be a retaining clip in there. So A ) Is anyone else's handle flimsy? B ) Do they have the gap on the rear of the lever or do they have a retaining clip in there? Thx in advance Rich
