Hi there, I have a 2008 Skoda Octavia VRS TDi Hatchback sunroof edition, I drove through a deep flood the other day and the following day I noticed water in the drivers foot well and behind the drivers seat. I thought it was due to the flood that I had driven through and thought it would gradually disappear! However after some time it didn't and I noticed after a heavy night of rain I would get more water inside the car! I also have noticed when driving in the rain, water drips in just underneath the bonnet catch pull. Engine water level fine, so I have eliminated door seals and coolant. I took it to a garage today and they didn't want to touch it because of the labour hours involved! they throbbed me off saying its the windscreen? is this common or is there something else that is prone to these models? Any help appreciated.

Hi, Does anyone know the size of the 2 spline bolts that go into the right hand side if the egr pipe where the blanking plate can be fitted?

Any idea what size the spline bolt is for the egr?

Yeah its the earlier PD engine, is it worth cleaning the egr then?

Ok thanks, could it be MAF or MAP sensor? I've herd they can give trouble, I've also had the diagnostic machine on it but trouble codes came up

Hi guys, I know im in the wrong forum, but VW and Skoda share the same engine. I have a mk5 Golf TDi 105 and it litrally has no boost, its been standing about a month, but before hand ran absolutely fine, I took it out the other day to charge battery and I struggled to get it over 50 mph! the faults that have come up are Engine coolant temp sensor on radiator outlet G83 Signal to high P2185 Manifold Pressure Boost Sensor G31 Signal to high P0238 Boost Pressure sensor implausible Correlation P1592 Any ideas chaps?

Hi guys, I have recently bought a 2008 Skoda Octavia vrs tdi, its had DPF removed, remap, and k&n panel filter. Since buying the car it jerks/kangaroos under hard acceleration, it seems worse when cold and seems to be getting worse and slower. Any ideas?
