Hi Spiz, We also use a Thule detachable mount which folds and fits onto the towbar ball. In our case it is an Xpress 970 (not sure what the difference is to the 931) However great rack, folds up and doesn't touch the car. Cheers

Hello Fellow Briskodians, I have just joined, so this is my first post. I have just taken delivery of a new Rapid Spaceback Monte Carlo in Moonglow White metallic. So far I like it a lot and wanted to talk to like minded people who will have answers to a number of questions that dealers and others typically don't have. I am also a member of an Aussie Forum site called VW Watercooled Australia (I also own a Tiguan) which whilst it has a Skoda section doesn't have a comprehensive enough one, hence the attraction to this site. I will negotiate the myriad of different model configurations available in the UK that we don't have in Australia and work out what is the same.
