Hi. Just joined the forum/community as interested in buying either a Superb II, Octavia II or Octavia III 1.6TDi and so looking for some advice.
First, does anyone know the differences between the Superb Greenline, Greenline II and Greenline III please? Googling I've been able to find brochures for April 2012 (http://www.telfordskoda.co.uk/brochures/superb.pdf), November 2012 (http://www.howardabraham.com/uploads/pdf/1360340324--Superb-Brochure.pdf) and April 2013 (http://blog.le-parnass.com/catalogue_pdf/skoda_superb02.pdf) but all deal with the Greenline II. No reviews I've found really address the changes from I to II and then to II or even when they too effect.
Second, if I went for a Greenline rather than standard 1.6 Superb, the lighter alloys, special tyres and energy recovery detailed for the Greenline II in these brochures + the 5 speed versus 6 speed maual box stand out to me. Do any of these differences affect reliability, for better or worse?
Finally (that I can think of right now) does any specific model have an notably better or worse reputation, reliability wise? Having spent time flicking through the Superb II comments the only risky item I can see is the EGR valve, which I assume is the same issue on all of the cars I'm interested in.
Appreciate any and all advice ;-).
