  1. Why ask questions you already know the answer to. You can travel more with the diesel but it will be boring and you won't enjoy it. What's the point 😂 Also I wonder why there are so many diesel options
  2. The haldex is only good for flooring it in the wet or getting though mud/snow. If you don't need that then get the 150 - why bother with a "power but no traction" spec?
  3. You may be right but I'm pretty sure I don't wanna try it again
  4. Do. Not. Leave. It. In. For some reason all things not pulled out at the right time will create problems (like drained car battery, wallet or disappointment over that burnt cake that could have been so delicious).
  5. You'll be happier when not towing with a 280 that's for sure Note that it has the same torque as the 190 - only the 4x4 traction would help in a towing scenario.
  6. Drive it hard and you'll get as low as 14mpg. Realistically this is what you should expect: 14-23 city, less than 30 outside. Seems reasonable to expect you'd use all the horses, otherwise why have them. The 220 is geared higher to get more mpg but drive it hard you get in the 14s - pretty pointless to get something that uses as much gas but with less traction. Rather ask yourself what kind of trips you want to have.
  7. I drove a 3cyl Seat in the city for a day some time ago, got less than 20mpg. Vibrates like an ancient diesel engine. I'd take the 280 any day over a car with that ridiculous engine. Sorry about your wife lol.
  8. You'd probably won't want to fiddle through menus every time you need a small sun at your disposal anyway. So a switch somewhere handy and quick (you could drill or glue it somewhere in the dashboard, or hang it somewhere in the ceiling). Also, why not have the bar on the roof, fixed on the rails? Wouldn't that give better light?
  9. HID bulbs fade over time in light output, maybe he had them for some years. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High-intensity_discharge_lamp#End_of_life
  10. What is your wiring setup? You added an extra button in your cabin?
  11. Interesting, so your rear right light assembly didn't have a functioning led (unconnected or not) at all? What's the part number and price?
  12. And you had the right wiring? Some people did it the other way:
  13. Superb's manual say that you shouldn't trash it the first 1000km or similar. Pretty sure Stingers ain't different. And how would you know how a car drives if you don't floor it a bit? Anyway ... in my country virtually all demo cars are diesel for some reason. Funny thing - diesels like short trips the least
  14. Afaik there's no way to invert it. Tho you could have your odbeleven in your car and enable it I guess? Or you can pay those extra 1-2L of petrol when in a traffic jam.
