Apart from a Skoda dealer, where can I buy a set of the Nylon Studs that push into the rear brake back plate that allows the brake shoes to slide on. DB.

I simply fed a wire from the rear RH fog across the boot to the LH fog, likewise I did the same for the reversing light too. Nice and simple. DB.

Use the headlamp tilt adjuster and turn it down one notch and see how you go. Otherwise I agree with the other posts, replace with 55w bulbs. DB.

Has the car been fitted with an extra carpet in the drivers footwell ? If so, remove and test. DB.

I learnt on here that it's best not to attempt to undo the plug/socket but to just simply cut the wires and use a separate connector when re-assembling, it's much easier. DB.

I was informed on here that the 1.4 TDI turbo does not have VNT's.

Maybe the nuts need tightening up, the slightest bit of movement will create a knocking noise. DB.

Or maybe he wants to have permanent side lights on front & back when the ignition is switched on, i have done this on my car by altering the wiring at the back of the side/headlight switch, thus not using a light sensor. DB.

Or, just simply use 'Tooth Paste' and plenty of polishing. DB.

My 1.4 TDI happily drives at 30 mph in 4th, sounds as though the torsion value needs re-setting. DB.

Brake lights are working OK. If it's the clutch position sensor, it feels no different from previous use, what else does this sensor serve ? My laptop is currently in for repair so I cannot check with VCDS. Is there a fuse that may be causing the problem, if so which one ? DB.
