In the Youtube video, at 8 minutes and 15 seconds in, he replaces a small unit in the rear boot of a Golf. I've been assured that the same will work on my Superb, but does anyone know if the unit that needs replacement is in the same position in a Skoda Superb. These past few days, if had a spirity odor in my cabin, when entering the car in the morning or afternoon. It is not noticable after a few minutes of driving, nor is it present if the car has stood still a short while, like when I work out for about an hour. There a no wet pools underneath the car, nor does there seem to be a leak in the sprinkler system. How would I go about troubleshooting this?

I have an Elegance from 2012, with the Aux in the jumbo box. I previously removed my Columbus, and replaced it with an Android Unit, but the Android Unit was faulty, and I had to put the Columbus back. I am not pleased with the Columbus, as it is deadly slow, and as I have the Fiscon + buetooth, I cant really control A2DP from it anyway, in a pleasing manner. I almost always listen to net radio or pod casts, so I need a better connection. I have mounted an iPad mini in with a CD tray mount, but I need a bluetooth receiver in the aux slot on the arm rest. I already have one, but it's got a 4 hour battery life, so I'd like to charge it in the box, and therefore I'd like to install a usb plug in there. Ideally I'd like to take the power from the fuse box for the usb plug, and also for a usb cable to the iPad. Has anybody done this, and now what I need to get to maeke this happen

Yes and no The Airbags on the 2 steering wheels are very different, so you need an airbag made for your steering wheel. I don't own any music. I only have Apple Music - before that Spotify. Also i listen to a lot of AudioBooks from Audible and podcasts, and it would be a tiresome task to update the Columbus HDD several times a week. I just updated my Fiscon Basic + to latest firmware, and reactivated A2DP, and I can live with it now. I seems the update has enabled me to keep A2DP 'always on', meaning that the Columbus will play from my phone when I start streaming... Before I had to manually enable A2DP every time.

My Superb has Columbus and a Kufatech Fiscon basic bt module. I do not like the way the bt module handles A2DP from my iPhone. Does anyone know if I can replace it with another module for the Columbus radio. Secret menu in Columbus says: its a : 0xCC01 - 3T0 035 680 G

I've actually decided on a different Superb. The dealer was putting me off a bit, and in the mean time I found one with 44k less on the clock (50k). Still a 2.0 Elegance 140 - Same color, but this has a beautiful black leather interior and a Columbus system, and with 18" Skoda alloys for summer and 17" skoda alloys for winter. From middle of 2012. Gorgeous car, which I am picking up in less than 2 hours... Anybody got any tips for buying a MFSW and fitting it, would be greatly appreciated.

I believe you have leather seats as standard too? Mine aren't

Not in Denmark. It was definitely an option as many of the cars I've been looking at has had regular wheels and many has had MFSW

Just wanted to say thanks for a fantastic forum. Been thinking about a Superb for months now, and having read 80 pages of this sub forum has pushed me over the edge lads. Ordered a 2013 2.0 Elegance today - 140 with manual. Nice Champagne finish with a cream cabin. Will be getting it remapped and I want to retrofit a 2015 MF Steering wheel (no MF on it now) Can't wait - been driving an Up since January and I've had enough
