Mikec, Cheers. Just used the hacksaw blade trick and the Fabia MS202 radio came out a treat.

Thanks to the great info on this site I have been able to fix a leaking rear wash pipe in my Y reg fabia. Symptom: no rear wash, gurgling in boot, damp carpet in boot. Pulling forward the plastic trim to the left of the n/s rear seat reveals a wiring harness that includes the rear wash pipe. 6-8 inches behind the trim towards the rear is a connector in the pipe
