  1. Well, hello to all, i'm finding myself in a bit of a pickle. I have a 2019 Skoda Karoq on a HP agreement where I pay around 285£ per month for 5 years. If I hand in my car tommorow, my settlement figure is 8600£. My car is a Karoq with SE-L trim level, 4x4, manual, 2.0 tdi with a flawless, VW and VW specialist service, with heated seats + steering wheel. I do, around 25.000 miles per year. I'm due to start an assignment for the next 3 years in parallel whilst working. I will drive 62 miles everyday, Monday to Friday with Saturday and Sunday doing 50 miles each day. My monthly income will see a decrease in funds. Whilst I can afford to still pay my Karoq I was looking at electric alternatives as it makes sense to purchase electric miles rather than diesel fuel at least from price perspective at least in current economic climate. Here are coming into play Skoda Enyaq and Skoda Elroq. I cannot afford a new one, and even looking more closely now, not even an Elroq, but trading in my Karoq, paying the negative equity that lies within that, and choosing an electric version, my maximum stretched amount where I can stretch is 14.000£ with a maximum 2k deposit. Given that my car has already over 100k miles on board, what do you think is the best decision to do, as I really don't know what to do. I have a drive and I can install a charger at home.
  2. I drive around 500 miles per week, commuting to work and back home. I currently have a Skoda Karoq 4x4 2.0 tdi - manual and I'm looking at multiple Skoda Enyaq models. I want to buy one but I cannot decide what capacity the battery should have and what will be better for me. For 71 miles daily and with me charging the car at home over night, I really don't know especially as the car will be second-hand. With me doing 26.000 miles per year, I'm intending to keep the car for a minimum of 3 years, although saying that and looking at my previous history, I usually change cars every 2 years. I'm also looking at two other brands, and at least 1 of them is way off out my budget. In terms of distances the only way I will do more that my daily is when I'm in holiday or visiting friends where the furthest ones live 200 miles away from me. My budget is 12-14 k for a car from 2022/2023 with maximum 50 k miles and I can go maximum to 23 k, albeit it will stretch me massively.
  3. I’m looking to buy an Octavia VRS diesel - manual hatchback but I don’t find what I want and I was looking at the 1.5 tsi with or without DSG (Sportline) any concerns either way ? Thanks, Cristian
  4. I have a Ghost installed. Before had disklok, still using it occasionally.
  5. Hello, just to introduce myself I’ve recently acquired a ŠKODA Karoq 4x4, 2.0 TDi manual and I have some questions. The car came with 1 year warranty and new GT radial tyres but I’m not overly confident with them and I was thinking in buying either Bridgestone or Continental, I don’t even want to hear about Michelin. This is my fourth ŠKODA being well familiar with the brand. I want to add some modifications to make it mine like they say, basically to put black badges everywhere and dechrome it. The colour of the car is blue and I think with black badges end eventually black wheels it will stand better in the crowd. I was also thinking to install door lights to light the foot area when you embark or exit the car. I also want to add some extra VCDS options so if you know someone that can do this kind of mods in South Yorkshire I will appreciate a hint/direction. Also looking for some advice from where to buy rubber mats and front and rear mudflaps as the car it seem to get really dirty and mucky in this wet weather. The car is 19 plate can I also ask if there is any chance of activating rear lights to work in the same time as DRL ? Do you recommend Halfords in installing a dash cam?

I would suggest a massage before a chiropractor, I work in Emergency Room and not all chiropractors are legitimately good.

I think I’ve debated before but I’m not remembering…getting old..I’ve tested 1 year ago a Skoda Karoq which had the ergo seats in the front with electric adjustments and I was so mesmerised about it, as I forgot completely to look for what type of trim level that Karoq had. I enjoyed the seats as the seating cushion was very long up to right behind my knees and as I’m coming from the tall people group being 6.2 I loved it. Unfortunately I don’t seem to find those seats in any Karoq I’m looking at and I’m getting very frustrated about it. I’ve asked about it on the Facebook group for Karoq and no one knows about it. So now I wonder were those seats an optional from the owner or was it a trim level. The same seats are on the Skoda Superb Laurin&Klement and also on the Passat GT. Can you guys shed some light or ideas for me? Kind regards. C.J.
  8. Do you still retrofit cruise control for Fabia ? I have a 61 plate anything available ? kind regards, John
  9. This is my 3rd Skoda and my 4rd VAG car. But this one I think it takes the medal in errors. When I bought it didn’t have any errors even after a test drive. But now is a different story. I have I think an electrical problem that lights my dpf filter light on in my dash if the handbrake is pulled or if I’m signalling left or right, weird, isn’t it? The car works perfectly is seeing everyday 50 miles of highway. Also I have a weird noise (humming) coming from engine? I don’t know really. The car didn’t had any history and I’m planning to change the cambelt and water pump. Also do you know anyone than retrofits cruise control? Do you know that the hatchback doors have the same size as the estate ones as one idiot person scratched both of my left doors. I’ve found replacements even in the same colour but there are from a hatchback. Do you know where I can find fuel cap replacement as mine has a key and it’s driving me nuts every time to open it. I’m trying to add some videos that are proof of what I’m saying. I live in South Yorkshire if someone can recommend a garage I will be also grateful. kind regards, john 5cab8dd5-95fc-4550-8159-745490620576.mp4 089f2ab6-69ac-4292-88bf-d54c7f13eae6.mp4 258ba87e-8ec4-47f0-ae93-9cad6fd67ef6.mp4
  10. I had a Skoda Octavia in the past and now I have a work horse Octavia Scout. I would like to have a VRs diesel though as I’m doing a lot of miles but as I got older (health problems started to appear) so I need a seat that has an extension like bmw/audi/mercedes have and even the last model of Octavia upon request but which I don’t like. So my question is if the railings for the seats are the same like inside an Audi A4 as I would buy the VRs and I would transplant the seats for my personal comfort. Thanks for the answers. KR
  11. My apologies in advance as I'm barging on your topic as I don't want to open another one for a silly question but appropriate for me. Does anyone here think that the new AGR seats that are coming on the O4 are suitable to be installed on a O3 facelift as a retro-fit. Does anyone knows how can I order them, in UK ?
