  1. Zuulan mines through Fleetprices.co.uk too but they are just a middle man. I reckon the dealer they secured your order through screwed up and forgot to submit the order or something. Either way going through the dealer is always better you can turn up and moan at them directly but they can hardly ever match the lease brokers for price.
  2. 4 months 5 days from order signed with Lease company to delivery day. It's arriving next Wednesday, cutting it fine for our winter break on the 20th
  3. 13th Sept ordered lease, apparently car is currently at Pdi Centre and will get the next available delivery slot once that's complete. Around 15 weeks for me.
  4. Good news for me is I know my reg is already a 66 so it'll be very close to 31st.
  5. Hi, as someone desperately hoping an end of December delivery will turn into "before Thursday this week" do you know what build week you vehicle had? Thanks Oh yes and enjoy I cannot wait.
  6. So on the 15th my Yeti was on the Ship at Emden so I am assuming it's in the UK (anyone know which port they come in to?) now at least and I've sent deposit and signed the paperwork. Ideally Wednesday it will be delivered as I'm having to hire a car for the Christmas family run, but that will be very unlikely.
  7. The reason I don't have a spare is mainly because there's only one place I'd ever be tempted to do it and that's the motorway because the family can't stay in the car while waiting for a breakdown. But that's incredibly dangerous, I'd rather stay on the verge with the family and wait for recovery, or very quickly try foam. But it's personal preference.
  8. I'm having seat covers on my PCH too, but it's because I got a bargain on the Monte Carlo and I'm too grown up for all that sporty red trim in my life. :-)
  9. As someone waiting to receive their registered Monte I appreciate this post, but wow that time between build and registration seems long.
  10. My Monte Carlo 1.2 DSG was built and had a status of being shipped as of Friday gone. Dealership is hopeful of a end of December delivery to my door, that would be a welcome surprise. Order places September 13th.
  11. Thanks for the update, the lease company emailed to say they're trying to get confirmation from the dealership so I haven't had any confirmation it's being built this week yet so your post is somewhat reassuring.
  12. It must big a big batch build then you're right. Post if you get notification of it being built and I'll do the same.
  13. Zuulan, I ordered a 1.2 Petrol Monte Carlo DSG in red with DAB added as an option on September 13th. I was originally given a build week of Week 46, this has been pushed back to Week 49 with delivery end of December (I am guessing with Xmas break it will more likely be early Jan). I'll be interested in hearing when yours arrives, so I'm not sure why you aren't on an earlier if not the same build week.
  14. It 14 week delivery time, i know because i just swapped my Fabia order which to this deal.
  15. Just got some good news, car should be delivered end of September now, which is a hell of a lot earlier than the early November estimate. Fingers crossed for no delays.
  16. For anyone who may be interested in current build times. Ordered my Fabia S on 1st August, I have been given a tentative build date of week 36 (late September) and an estimated delivery of Early November.
  17. S DSG 1.2 110 £148 a month over 36 months 10k miles. It's a lease not PCP no option to buy it at the end it has to go back. Cheapest automatic small family car motoring I could find that actually existed. A lot of lease websites advertise amazing deals but then quote you way more when you enquire. If you find something better don't tell me as I'm in the contract now ;-)
  18. Thanks, but switch that to 36 months with 10k mileage allowance and it's 209 a month. We need cheap monthly motoring for the next 3 years when hopefully we'll be in a better financial position. I'll regret this less than paying more each month than we can afford. Also now I've signed a lease I don't look at New offers because i'd get stung with a cancellation fee of £500 ;-)
  19. GoneOffSki is spot on. For the past year I've been renting cars only so driven about 32 different cars, each engine had its own sweet spot for best Mpg, I do find 60mph is usually pretty close but a couple have returned better figures at 72mph
  20. By all means. Currently expected delivery date of early November.
  21. The first one you link to is an S trim. It has no AC the cabin is very cheap and plastic, as well as the media unit being smaller screen and no mirror link. S trim models depreciate a lot more but if you are happy to not have those features then yes you can get a bargain. http://www.ddscars.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/Skoda-Brochure-July-2016-Fabia.pdf Page 28 of the brochure does a trim comparison.
  22. It is a very good post. I did check the difference in insurance cost just now but there's only £3 a month in it. The SE is very tempting but it's cheap motoring we require. Thanks for setting me straight on A/C not being an option we'll just stick without it, thanks for all your input.
  23. Cheers Alltorque. As it's a lease it will have to be done by Skoda themselves. I'll look into it closer to the time and just hope we don't have any heat waves next year :-)
  24. Hi Ferda Thanks but that's factory fitted options at time of manufacture, I am referring too a year down the line the dealer fitting it. Cheers
  25. Hi All. So finally signed the lease on a Fabia S 1.2 110 DSG. We were after cheap automatic family motor and couldn't justify the extra monthly costs of SE or adding A/C. The trim doesn't bother me I think the kids and I will abuse it anyway. But a bit worried about lack of A/C if in a years time I went to skoda and paid for it to be added does anyone know how much that would cost? Google has failed me. I got free metallic paint so went Rallye Green I might upgrade to alloys at some point also. But for now £150 a month family automatic is brilliant. Snow
