Hi all,
The heated part-leather driver's seat base of my 2016 vRS TDi has stopped working on the right-hand side - or maybe the left side's starting to overheat, I can't quite tell! Either way, the lack of, err, thermal synchronicity lately between left & right "cheeks" has become cause for alarm! 😁
I gather it should be possible to replace this part: https://www.skoda-parts.com/spare-part/5e0963555l-insert-for-the-heater-seat-skoda-46162.html
I was wondering if anyone could share or recommend a procedure to do this myself? Is it a seat out job? Happy to try other tips to resolve or let me know if more info needed. I managed to successfully replace the driver's-side window switches recently so am up for a new challenge!
