So.. finally. I got the 3rd brakelight changed under my warranty, but had to pay for the foglights. Found a pair from a brand new car that got totalled in the rear, 30euros/each. So I am pretty satisfied. Although my Skoda will be out on the market, had it for one year and 30.000km now and I need a bigger trunk and a hitch. So I will fill my garahe with an old Camaro and a VW Transporter instead of this one.. had a great time with the car.

I disconnect the whole headlight for bulb changes, makes everything so much easier.. takes a couple of minutes..

Going to mount some Extra driving lights on my Fabia -16, anyone here knows wich cable is + to original highbeam?

Yes, It´s barely noticable at lower speeds and rpm´s. But on the highway there is a big difference. Top speed went from 186km/h to 202km/h (on speedometer) and the engine overall feels much more relaxed when cruising around 130-150km/h. Also mounted open air filter to get the cosy turbosound, and a dumpvalve only to annoy my girlfriend when she´s driving the car around town.

So, my dealer will not replace the foglights or the 3rd brakelight due to "outer impact". I do not agree to this, I guess this will be a followup in a couple of weeks....

Thanks! The wheels are Rondell 01RZ Anthracite Matt Polished 7,5x17 5x100 ET38 Ø70,4. Got them from wheelsshop in Denmark, With 215/40. But I think I should have tried 225's if they fit.

Overall I am pretty satisfied with the new look, black badges, black mirror covers, black grille, deleted "Skoda" & "Fabia" on the trunk, Extreme vision bulbs in headlights and LED in almost every possible place. Going for a remap on Monday, And thinking of lowering the car.. Since I have the "rough road" pkg it sits kinda high on the wheels. When do we get an open air filter and a new exhaust option?

I bought a Monte carlo rear wing from superskoda, mounted it on the car yesterday.. but da*n it was hard to get the right great fitment. In my opinion it looks lite crap, Does anybody have a workshop manual or instructions on how to mount it step by step on to the car? I might upload pics later.. Or just take it off and try again, Yes, I am a bit embarrassed about this..

Yes, I do hand dry every bit of My car, Might be that I won´t tell My dealer about that.. Should´t be a problem to hand dry the lights on a brand new car..

As for the side mirror I'd say take out the glass first, behin it You reach two clips in top of the housing, push them down and out and the cover will pop right off.

Oh yeah.. I forgot to mention that my 3rd brakelight has cracked as well.. And yes, I am very careful with my car and it's only being handwashed. That's why I'm curious about these cracked plastic covers...

It makes kind of an rattling whistling sound, can only hear it when the car is on idle and the fannspeed is low.. But its there and really annoying. Hope the new compressor will be better..

So my Fabia has been out on the roads for 18.000km now, and I just noticed that both my foglights are cracked diagonally.. Doesn't look like it's been chipped by a rock.. Anybody else had this problem? Going in for a new A/C compressor in late August and will take this up with them..

Hello! New user here, but got my Fabia in February 2016. Located in Sweden. Candy white DSG/110hp Tinted windows Sportspack (seats, steeringwheel) 30mm extra ride height and plastic covers under the car since I did not want the stiffer sport suspension. Rainsensor, cruisecontrol. Put my winter tyres on the original 15" and bought 17" for the summer. Going for a remap next week to get 135hp, and waiting for Rear wing, rear mudflaps, black grille, black Skoda logos and black mirror covers..
