  1. Glad to have been of service! The seats aren't fully reclined (they're too laid back then, anyway, for normal sitting)
  2. After being on my second Yeti and owning them for over 8 years, I have only just discovered a useful feature - when you remove the parcel shelf, it slots in behind the back seats!
  3. My old 1.2tsi used to get mid 30s mpg, if I remember correctly. The 1.2 Octavia got mid to high 40s. My 2.0 diesel 4x4 Yeti averages out at low 40s.
  4. Agree. Lane assist is really annoying, but not as annoying as the radar controlled cruise control that is also becoming standard!
  5. Lovely! Good luck with the test drive. My old Yeti and Octavia were the 1.2tsi - cracking little engine.
  6. Exactly. We replaced ours with a lovely specced up Octavia estate, which I promptly sold 18 months later to get another Yeti! The Octavia just had no personality (something only Yeti owners understand!)
  7. Thats a beauty! We used to have a 12 plate Elegance. I was tossing up between an SE L Drive or L and K. The SE L seemed to be a direct replacement but went for the L and K as it had a few extras that made it an 'upgrade'.
  8. Hmm. Does seem quite a faff! Shame, seems quite useful
  9. I am thinking of getting the full height partition net for the back of my Yeti. Does it need to have special fittings in the roof fitted?
  10. Same here. Ended up selling the Octavia and getting another Yeti!
  11. Niro seems like it might be my replacement, too. Lovely car, but just lacks the personality of a Yeti. I think, though, every car does!
  12. Picked up a same age and spec earlier in the year, but in quartz grey. Go to agree it's a great car! Previously has 12 Elegance model and really missed it when I sold it. I managed 2 years with a top spec Octavia estate but had to go back to the Yeti. There is nothing out there I would want to replace it with!
  13. Something odd like condensation maybe?
  14. Not sure how much help this will be, but I have used the same feet on my 12 Yeti, 66 Octavia estate and 66 Yeti
  15. That sounds a great spec, very similar to mine. I was tempted by the Drive, but went for the L and K as I wanted the glass roof and park assist as well
  16. I had a '12 Yeti, then a '66 Octavia estate. I went back to another Yeti as I missed it. Boot length is less but I find it quite usable with the middle seat down, and we have a roof box for the rare occasions we need Octavia size space
  17. I've previously had a 1.2tsi petrol manual and recently got a 2.0tdi diesel 4x4 DSG. I would recommend either. If you're just going around town, pick petrol, but if you're planning on off road go diesel. It will be a while until diesel is killed off, but it seems to me that the uncertainty has meant the price of a diesel is a lot lower than a petrol.
  18. Finally got around to getting this sorted! Using the option of Tiguan with a discover system and the maps work fine, with speed limits being correct
  19. The latest ones on Skoda are a different file name. I had 2019 2020 already but the latest look different. I've downloaded them but not had a chance to install them yet
  20. All try the update later. Does the VW update work fine on Skoda?
  21. On latest maps already. I can only think it is a setting for the different types of vehicles
  22. My 66 L&K often shows two different speed limits, such as the 50 and 60 signs on a 60mph limit. I assumed this was to do with the using a trailer option in the nav settings, but this makes no difference if it is selected or not. I don't even have a tow bar! Does anybody know how to get it to show the correct speed for just a normal car?
  23. Got a 66 L&K and seem to average 45mpg +
