Hello, can I use 10w40 oil in Fabia 1, 2007 year, 59kw petrol engine? At previous owner it was 5w40 in engine.

Yes, the alternator light comes on with ignition, alternator is charging ok, probably those wires are loosing contact while car is driving.

Thank you for that picture with filter numbers, I will look for PR number on the sticker in the trunk. I was on VAG diagnostic at my friend, one error was there, drive battery voltage. I dont know what that means, car is going fine, mostly on short trips, wife drives it everyday, 1-5 kilometers. Sometimes 10. Fuel spending is 8.5/100 KM, that is wery well for short trips.

Normal speed turning, it wont start like there is no fuel or spark. I have acount when previous owner was changing spark plugs, mechanic put wrong ones, from another engine code, now I am going to install wright ones. Maybe it will help, but I dought. Coolant temp. sensor was changed by previous owner also, he bought original.

Hello, I have bought Fabia 2007 year, BUd engine, 59 kw, and I want to change fuel filter but I dont know which one to install, 3 or 4 bars. I have a problem, car sometimes wont start, maybe one, two times in a month. From second time or third it starts up. Maybe it is wrong fuel filter on car? When it wont start dash lamps are all out, nothing is blinking.

Car is manufactured in 7/2007, but in my licence year of manufacture is 2008. In Croatia everything is possible. It is Fabia 1 6Y. Is Mobil 5W/40 ok for that engine? What about spark plugs, 30000 km or more. Previous owner has changed plugs and has put wrong code plug, it should be Beru Z202, and he has bought Z193. Car is starting normaly and is going fine. What about that?

Hello, can you tell me on my Fabia 1 combi, 6y chassis, 1.4 16v,59kw,bud engine, 2008 year, can i use mobil 1 5w40 that was used by previous owner, when is time for changing timing belts kit, and do you have maintenance book that i didnt get from previous owner.Switch for windows on driver doors-sometimes when i press slowly down window goes up, fast down is always working. Is problem in switch? Thanks for answres.
