I've got the 2.0 , 190 bhp engine.

I know that this may have been discussed and apologise for starting a new topic. I have a 2016 SEL DSG which is now out of Warranty and confused about servicing. It's currently on long life service and is due an oil change in 4k and then a service at 5k as I plan to keep the car. Do I just service the car every 12 months or 10K and forget the long life and then get the oil change and filter and everything else that needs to be done at that annual service. So in other words keeping it simple. ? I do a lot of stop start, mixed driving which includes short and long journeys and towing. The mileage is at 50500 at mo.

Well, following an email and a phone call to Skoda UK, the hatch has been replaced and they have said for it. Still can't believe it costs so much. To be fair, Skoda UK were on the money and really good.

Definitely got a lot of water getting under the lacquer, which doesn't look great when you have a clean car and wheels.

The corrosion is because the lacquer has started peeling off and is flakey. With the road salt and other grime and brake dust, I would imagine is cashing the corrosion. As for colour, my only concern was the style of the wheel. The Sportline line wheels suit the light anthracite colour, so undecided to stay with silver or go bold with anthracite.

I've currently got 19 ins Sirius Alloys on my Superb SEL estate. Unfortunately the lacquer on them has started peeling and I've had to have two of them refurbed twice and a fair cost. Three of the wheels have now started corroding due to the lacquer again. Thinking of having then changed back to normal colour alloys with a colour change. I fancy light anthracite for the wheels but not sure if it will go as it's a white car. Gunmetal is to dark I think? Any suggestions? The photo below is what I was got now. I Iike the colour of the alloys on the VW Passat GT which is a light grey. Which is the pic below.

Update: booked car into local dealer and guess what, told not covered under warranty. Cost of replacement = £291. Rip off. Sent an email to Skoda Customer services. Looking for a second hand part now. How frustrating and poor.

Afternoon all, I have a 2016 SEL estate and have owned for the last 2 years. I've gone to use the rear access hatch which also flips down to be used as a drink holder for the first time today and the handle you lift to open the flap to access the boot broke in my hand. Anyone got any ideas on a fix or replacement? Thanks in anticipation. Chingster

You would think it would be the same for everyone. But it seems there are so many variations. Frustrating!

Morning all, Does the Škoda one app just appear when connected to Apple Car Play? I've downloaded it on to my phone and it works when connected via USB, but doesn't appear on the Car Play screen. I have a 2016 SEL with Columbus . Any ideas?

Hello all, I was wondering if anyone has managed to programme the memory function of the drivers seat to a non-kessy key. I have tried following the instructions in the manual, reading the posts on this forum, but just don't seem to be getting anywhere. I would appreciate any step by step guides please. Hi all, does the seat memory only work with Kesey keys? I've tried doing it with a normal key but can't seem to get it to work.

Evening all, I am pricing up an aftermarket towbar as I can't afford one from the dealer. As it does cost an arm and several legs like Campetmartin says. Anyone had any problems when the fitters went to do the wiring as I heard that the centre console and Infotainment unit had to come out. I'd be interested to hear from anyone with after market towbar fitted by independent fitters.
