yeah its red but I only realised when I changed my plates which are now on with plate tape but they were metal screws in there when I had bought it. I will have to go to the garage and ask but it just means it will be a little bit of a pain having to pull the plate tape off to show them.

quick question for anyone that might know would the boot lid on my 2011 fabia is corroding around the number plate screw holes... would that be covered by the skoda paint warranty?

Okay so if anyone stumbles upon this I found a way around this issue.... I linked the orange cable from the head unit to the grey and blue cable from the back of the headlight switch.

Does anybody know what to link the the illumination wire on an aftermarket head unit to in a fabia mrk2? There isn't a standard illumination wire I don't think as it uses the can bus system

Has anyone upgraded the headlights in a monte carlo. i find the halogen lights to not be very good. i have seen LED upgrades around recently and was wondering if had used them?

okay so i bought this and it is quite good, it scans all the modules etc and with the fault codes it has online help to the causes. as for coding it as i had bought the premium app is good but does not have any naming like vagcom so it takes some research into which bits need to be changed. same goes for the adaptations. the apps are good but you have to buy credits to use them and on certain cars the apps are limited. my 2011 fabia monte carlo does not have any apps available yet. i will keep this post updated the more i find.

yeah got mine moving now after 3 attempts of removing the cover and putting wd in there. sprayed lithium grease in there now so fingers crossed its going to stay free.

okay i will give this a go how much force was needed trying to get it to move?

Did you find out what the problem actually was and did the WD-40 fix this?
