Thanks, here's the answer Took it to skoda Bolton last week . They tested it on VCDS and error code showed sensor problem like I expected . My car has done lots of motorway miles so they said it would be the likeliest problem. Charged £30 for test. Today they replaced sensor for £90 and now fully working and no light on dash. £120 all in and can now sell confidently to a private buyer. Anyone interested ???

I have had for the last 2 years the engine warning light permanently on , no limp mode, no loss of power nothing, so ignored it. Now need to sell car to buy new superb so trying to diagnose most likely sensor that is probably faulty . Thinking of buying a scrap part to replace it , just to get light out. Any ideas or had similar? It's a superb mk2 150bps diesel

I have been offered a new electric boot strut - i snapped the screwed rod in mine by forcing the boot shut as it was tuck in the top position. Anyway i have located a part and it is exactly the same except from a 2014 model. will this fit? he said they would all fit although the part number may be different - i was just worried if the loom would fit okay?
