  5. Awesome Brenderup 1150s trailer with extension sides and ABS hardtop. Has also been fitted with full size 13" spare wheel. Purchased new by me last year, has travelled to France and back and is stored under cover. 13pin electrics, tows brilliantly. I'll take £600 for this collected from DE560JD which is a bargain. Any questions please ask.

  7. Following the sale of my mk2 superb estate i have a set of Thule aero bars available, they are 130cm bars which are lockable. I have 2 keys. Collection from DE560JD £40 Please see my other related items for sale. Any questions please ask.
  8. New,never fitted, stainless steel bumper protector purchased from superskoda part no 3T0061580 to fit mk2 superb 08-15. Collection from DE560JD preferred, £20 which is half price. Please see my other superb items that are for sale as i no longer own mine. Any questions please ask.
  9. Set of 4 Skoda heavy duty rubber mats to fit the Mk2 Superb. Unless some one tells me otherwise i believe these will fit the saloon and estate, although they were fitted to my estate model. Very little use, pretty much as new condition, come complete with rear centre tunnel rubber mat which was sold by Superskoda. Smoke and pet free car, collection from DE560JD preferred. £30 Please see my other Superb related items for sale. Any questions please ask.
  10. Immaculate dog guard to fit Mk2 Superb estate, fit and finish is excellent, bought to retain items in the boot rather than dogs, also non smoking owner. Specifically for models with panoramic roof,i suspect it will also fit a car without a sunroof but would leave an extra inch or so gap at the top,as the sunroof models have a slightly headliner. You are welcome to test before purchase,it takes minutes to fit. I would definitely buy this make of guard again. I'm after £30 Collection from DE560JD is preferable, but can post if you pay postage.
  11. Now that my Superb has been sold i have these 4 alloys available. Genuine Skoda alloys 7.5J X 18" They are in very good condition,i would say 8 1/2 out of 10, none are buckled and are complete with centre caps. Tyres that are fitted are Avon Ice Touring 225/40/18, they are pretty much as new with a minimum of 7mm tread depth even across the tyre face,no puncture repairs. My Skoda was awesome in the snow with these tyres. I realise not everyone is thinking about winter tyres in May but hopefully the price of £300 all in is attractive. If they sell on here i'll throw in a winter wheel storage cart that allows the wheels to be easily moved and keeps them separate so the tyres don't rest on one another. If they don't sell ill remove the tyres and sell the alloys on their own. Selling other items from my Superb in the relevant section. Collection from DE560JD. Any questions please ask. Thanks Paul.
  12. 2010.....from what i can see this sunroof is fitted to various VAG models, and manages to leak in them all.
  13. Thanks both of you....good news,i have just jet washed the hell out of it and its bone dry inside...its looking like a success to me
  14. No problem, there would have been more pictures but i was paranoid about getting Tiger Seal on my camera...
  15. I first noticed water splashes on the plastic next to the area where the drivers feet are, A pillar area following heavy rain, initially thinking that water was getting past a door seal. Further investigation revealed water was leaking from the panoramic roof, onto the headlining then running down the A pillar trim, behind the plastic panels and being absorbed by the sound deadening under the carpet. By this stage there was a lot of water under the carpet as the sound deadening is plentiful and acts as a sponge. A bit of searching on here pointed towards blocked drains...there are 4 drains, the two front ones exit near to the front door check straps on the A post, they are just visible when the doors are open. The two rears exit at the top of the boot opening, again visible when the tail gate is open. Mine were not blocked.Bugger. A bit of a red herring followed, the external seal that runs around the perimeter of the sunroof,it has a felt edge was slightly torn on my car,it was that way when i bought it,that must be the problem...so i stripped the head liner out of the car...not the work of a moment...dropped the complete sunroof assembly...which is surprisingly easy, its held in place by 12 or so T30 bolts...its just heavy, ask a friend to help. Then i replaced the seal, which was approx £80 and put everything back together. Just to note, there was evidence of slight weepage at the point where the drainage tubes connect to the sunroof, its really obvious with the head liner removed. I have addressed this by securing them with stainless fuel pipe clips, lightly tightened,as the stubs attached to the sunroof tray are made of plastic. I was not best pleased to find i still had a leak....infact it was worse than before, and on both sides now. At this point i thought i had found the answer to my problems on the Yeti section of this site. They are fitted with the same sunroof. Actually the same roof is fitted to a lot of VAG estate cars. Someone with the same problem had been able to stop their leak using a solution that boat owners buy that finds cracks and seals them. This solution is applied to the visible join between the plastic front section and aluminium sides. Brilliant...that worked....well long enough for me to put the car back together including the now dry underfloor sound deadening. But the next instalment wasn't good news... So,headliner removed again...quicker this time...sunroof out again, its really obvious why these things leak, the joins between the aluminium side sections and front plastic section are subject to flex, there is little structural integrity. I separated the joints just enough to see that inside is a flexible rubberised seal, this was carefully removed and replaced with a good dose of black tiger seal which oozed out nicely when it was all put back together. The joints were clamped for several hours before the sunroof was put back into the car. And here we are,i have fingers crossed,i'll test it properly tomorrow,i want to give the tiger seal 24 hrs before subjecting it to the jetwash I just wanted to put this here incase anyone else runs into the same problem, its do able by a competent home mechanic, actually probably anyone can do it,i'm living proof. I honestly wouldn't buy another car with a panoramic sunroof, when you google to try to find a solution you realise this is far from an isolated incident.
  16. Unfortunately this excellent guide didn't work for me,well it did for a short time, just long enough for me to think i had cracked it and so replace all of the underfloor sound proofing which i had dried out again. So,back to the drawing board. I have removed the complete sunroof from the car, its no wonder we are having these problems, there is so much flex in the front plastic section which obviously has an impact in the seal between the plastic and aluminium side sections. After removing the sunroof i carefully separated the front plastic section from the aluminium sides just enough so i could see that there is a rubberised seal inside the plastic,i carefully removed all trace of the seal then generously applied black tiger seal before re assembling. Tiger seal was oozing out between the plastic and aluminium...perfect. Then i clamped the joints allowing the tiger seal to set, although it never fully sets before re fitting the sunroof. I'll let you know how it goes.
  17. Blimey...all that going on whilst i was snoozing... just to clear up,it isn't the E-fuel saver,it is the T-fuel map and boost system. Subject to payment this is sold,i'll update the ad properly when I've received funds and posted the item. Thanks Paul.
