  1. Yes, you're totally right, I got it wrong. I have 205/45/16, and specifically Bridgestone Turanza T005. Previous owner had Toyo Proxies which where quite bad in terms of cushioning bits of the road (probably due to their age though). I will be going for a service next week and will ask them to check the state of the springs. When you say that the dampers might be rubbish, you mean that they might need changing regardless of the springs?
  2. Hello all, I have bought a used 2011 TSI model and it came with: 16" wheels, i.e. 195/45R16 lowered with (as I've been told at least) Seat Cupra's springs Although, I love the car, what annoys me is the ride comfort. I can feel almost every bump on the road. Is there any way to ease ride comfort? As I see it, my options would be: Changing wheels to 15", so that there's "more tyre" between the road and the alloy, which would probably absorb more bumps. This would probably be quite costly, right? Changing springs or coilovers. What do you suggest? Thank you!
  3. Hey @hutchysrs50, How was the ride after installing the B14's?
  4. Hello, I have a Fabia (2011) with the SWING unit. Additionally, on the left side of my steering wheel, I have volume knob and two buttons for next and previous radio station. Bluetooth is supported just fine and I am able to listen to songs from my mobile. What I want to find out though, is whether I can use previous/next buttons of my steering wheel, to control playback on my mobile phone. The princible should be the same, as when wearing bluetooth headset and can control volume, previous/next through it, without using my phone.
  5. Didn't know about XL, great suggestion @AwaoffSki ! Thank you!
  6. Thank you all for the suggestions! Looked into it a bit more and the options were: Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 Michelin Pilot Sport 3 PS3 Dunlop SportMaxx RT Bridgestone Turanza T005 Pirelli P Zero Nero GT I have to take into account: My engine, which is a TSI, i.e. some more speed, but not that much compared to Monte's or VRS. I will be driving usually around the city and not on the highway that much. roads in my country having a lot of potholes and bumps. For the above, I believe I need tyres that have some kind of reinforcement on their sides. What do you think?
  7. Hello, I own a 2011 TSI with 16" wheels. The time has come to change tyres, whose size specs are 205/45/16. Do you have any recommendation for a brand or what should I look for? The car is mainly used for driving around the city and for some trips. Since I am living in Greece, I would probably go with summer tyres with good traction on wet road. Thank you for your time.
  8. Hello all, I have a Fabia MK2 (2011 model) and I am thinking of retrofitting the parking sensors. I have the basic radio that comes with the model (SWING). What specs should the parking sensors have to be compatible with SWING's display? Can you recommend some from Ebay? Thank you for your time!
  9. Have you come around painting the inside gloss to black? I've been thinking about doing this..
  10. Hello all, On September, I got my first car, a used Fabia 1.2 TSI (model of 2011), bicolore version (white body, black roof). Now, on to my inquiry, currently at the front, parts: bonnet trim and grill trim, there's a black sticker (changing it from chrome to black). The part's I am talking about, are these: bonnet trim and grill trim. I would like to paint these white, as the (main) body's colour. My question is, how easy is to remove them? Regarding the bonnet trim part, I think there's only one screw and some clips holding it on to the bonnet. Is that correct? What troubles me though, is the grill trim part. Is it easily removed? Is there a possibility of it braking while removing it? Thank you for your time
