Ooh Poo! the order for my Superb Estate 1.6 Tdi SE Technology DSG in Business Grey Metallic has only gone in today, was hoping to have it for Christmas but looks unlikely.

Decision made, Superb Estate 1.6 SE Technology DSG in Business Grey Metallic (not white). Got stuck behind a truck this morning on a country road whilst driving the trial Greenline 1.6 tdi and struggled to find the right gear to get passed by which time I'd lost the momentum. I'll let the DSG make all those decision for me going forward. Looking forward to taking delivery.

I've got exactly the same dilemma, current car is a Passat 150tdi Sport Estate due for renewal and is no longer available on my employers list (cut backs), as such I've narrowed my choice on a somewhat limited list to either a Superb 1.6tdi Greenline III SE Tech or the Superb 1.6tdi SE Tech DSG. I've got a Greenline currently on trial and the gearing seems high for a 1.6, as such there is a lot of gear changing around the 25 to 40mph region whereas my Passat has the flexibility to remain in fourth throughout. Question is should I spend the extra £36.70 per month on tax for the DSG, is it worth it ? Other dilemma is colour choice but that's another story (Candy or Moon White).
