  1. It is the cornering light function. It didn't make sense because they are cornering fog lights, but I've not turned the fog lights on. I noticed that one light was active when the missus was turning into the drive, which now makes sense. Re-reading the manual does explain the function and they do activate if the fog lights are off. That video explained a lot but thanks to all of the replies.
  2. I've had a Kodiaq Edition since September and noticed that one of what I think are parking lights (Immediately below the main light cluster) is off when driving but comes on when the coming home mode is activated after parking. The driver's side one seems to work fine. I've been through the manual but can't figure out if I've accidentally activated a setting somewhere. I can't find a diagram that actually specifies what the function each light is (there are many), but from browsing the internet, I'm assuming that they are the parking lights but I could well be totally wrong.
  3. I for one hate the PID. Navigon were great until Garmin took over and added microtransactions for additional services and map updates. This for me seems like a much better, agnostic solution for whichever ecosystem ( Android, iOS, Windows, etc) you subscribe to. Too many manufacturers force a particular ecosystem on the buyer when really, we are buying a car, not a phone brand. As for Android security, keep your phone up-to-date and employ reasonable and safe practices and you will never be sorry. Google navigation is hard to beat and if you have a live connection (i.e. a phone with mobile data) then traffic updates happen in near enough real time. The turn by turn directions are good and the maps will always be the latest. You could of course take your pick of many apps available.
  4. Have you ripped the music yourself? Some players (the PID doesn't seem to have any options) can read embedded tag information and use this to adjust the volume to be consistent across an album, or as individual tracks. It's called replay gain. Bad rips or tags can lead to tracks being played at apparently very different levels. I gave up with having music on a card and now use the Bluetooth audio connection to play tracks from my phone. It's less audiophile but then the Citigo isn't the best listening environment to begin with!
