Hello just had a tree branch fall on my tailgate and crack the rear tailgate /roof spoiler.I have learned they are glued in place.Has anybody had any experience on removing without causing more damage to the paint . Are there any small fixings hidden away?Any points gladly accepted .

Hello car is coming upto 3 yrs and suggestion that the electronic differential unit require a fluid change ?On certain gearboxes a filter change is also required. Does any person have experience with this please what fluid ?Is a filter present on the 6 speed manual 2wheel drive? Rgds Allan

Hello Did some research myself,and contacted Westfalia UK and they seem to know about this issue when installing a 7pin setup with one of there dedicated wiring kits.If you install a 13 pin all will be good.So there you have it installed the dedicated kit and have built in design fault?

Hello Just to add on Electrics 1 69 trailer byte 3 I have selected both terminal 30 output pin active and non active and it makes no difference? the options on byte 1 are 00 partial network operation active and the other option non active .bit 4>7 On the write up I have byte 1 bit 0>7 01 trailer connector diagnosis active ? Is the choice. So this may or mat not be the problem?2016 VRS 230 Any experts out there please.

Hello I have just fitted a towbar and used my new VCDS to program the features,The trailer board all works ok ,reverse sensors bypassed when trailer on all good.But I have an error on module 69 trailer error reads P1577 00 [009] open circuit. On the programming side on electrics 1 69 trailer long code helper Byte 1 I did not have the option trailer connector diagnosis active. On byte 3 I did have 00 terminal 30 output [pin 9] not active.Any ideas what I am doing wrong,any help much appreciated.

Hello I want to fit some winter boots on my VRS 230 and was informed the mark 2 Skoda Neptune alloys In 18 inch will not be compatible?They have the correct PCD offset (51mm) ? Is this just a stock answer and has somebody fitted these for winter wheels to a mark 3 VRS Octavia. Thank you in advance.

Hello I have just discovered the 12v accessory socket is permantly live,I have now want to splice into the fuse box in behind the glove box to find switched live for a dash cam supply? Has anybody achieved this?Sorry for lots of questions ,thank you in advance. Rgds Allan

Just a quick note if this has been done before on a Combi model with Canton boot speaker (how the hell is that removed).Looks like a long drawn out job?Any help would be most welcome. Rgds Allan

Just joined after picking up Octavia VRS 230 Combi ,next job is to hardwire dash cam and fit a tow bar. Looking forward to like minded drivers. Rgds Allan
