  1. Yes, I'm using an iPhone. I think topping out at such a low figure, either 49.9 or 99.9 is poor given that car can do well over that in certain conditions. My wife has a Peugeot 2008 and that doesn't top out until 999.9.
  2. The maps are offline so you won't use any data unless you turn on the live traffic.
  3. Sussed it!! There is an option labelled "Navigation" in the volume section of the sound settings of the headunit. By default it is turned to minimum so I turned it up and now I get spoken instructions when listening to the radio and streaming music from my phone. It's still a very basic sat nav but hopefully it will improve with updates over time.
  4. Have you tried reinstalling and repairing? I'm using the new move&fun app and have any of those limits apart from on the current mpg reading which tops out at 99.9 but I think that's normal on most cars.
  5. Yes, same here. When playing music from my phone it does seem to work, mostly, but will not work when listening to the radio.
  6. The Skoda accessories brochure shows the splitters starting at £223 fitted so if you're happy to do the fitting yourself then I say it's a good find. My only concern would be the quality compared to the official Skoda one.
  7. No text to speech app, shouldn't need one and Skoda customer services haven't mentioned needing one. I can get Apple maps to give me directions through the car audio but only if I tell it to use Bluetooth output. There is no such option in the Move&fun app.
  8. So, Skoda's answer was, fiddle around with a few settings and if that doesn't work try reinstalling the app. Well, none of it worked so I am no further along. I essentially have a fancy trip computer instead of the multi function app I was expecting. A satnav that doesn't give spoken instructions is dangerous as you keep having to look at the screen to know where to go instead of looking at the road. I would be very interested to know if anyone else has had any luck with it.
  9. If I get hold of a manual I'll certainly share it. No reply from Skoda UK as yet though and a search of their website was fruitless. I suspect, as with many phone apps, no manual exists.
  10. I don't know, the owners manual doesn't mention anything about music streaming apps and it's not something I tend to do anyway. Might try it just out of curiosity.
  11. I concur. I've had this on a couple of cars, especially noticeable at low revs. Mine was down to corrosion around the fixing bolts allowing too much movement of the shield.
  12. I've found Bluetooth to be flaky when playing music on any device so I think think that's just a "feature" of Bluetooth. That's why I'm glad you can now connect via USB. I've not had any experience with the PID as this is my first Citigo
  13. The app you get instead of the PID on the 2017 version is not good. The sat nav function is slow to update your position and I can't get it to give me spoken instructions. It also hit miss whether it will connect first time or after the forth attempt. It's good that you can connect your via USB to play music but all the other functions are via Bluetooth.
  14. The total absence of a user manual doesn't help matters. The dealer showed me the best they could how to use it but it was all new to them too. I'll be contacting Skoda today to see if they can enlighten me or at least provide a manual.
  15. Have had a few connection issues but it does usually connect eventually. The sat nav not giving spoken instructions isn't a massive issue as I will rarely use it but if it's supposed to speak then it should.
  16. Hi Does anyone have any experience with the move&fun iPhone app? I have a 2017 SE with new phone cradle and app however I can not get the sat nav part of the app to talk to me. The app works as far as showing me the trip computer and playing my iTunes content but the sat nav function just won't speak directions. Any suggestions are welcome.
  17. I did read somewhere that the Citigo facelift is coming in 2018.
  18. Hi, I've just taken delivery of a 2017 SE model. Really the only differences I can see are the headlight cluster with LED DRL's and the updated infotainment system. Looks like more of an update than a facelift. Anyway, I'm enjoying it immensely.
  19. Hi fellow members. Just taken delivery of a MY17 Citigo SE 60 Greentech. I bought it from Bickerton Skoda in Sheffield, thanks Tony & Marcus. I've only put 34 miles on the clock so far so it's too early to form a real bond with the car but the test drive was good enough to make me give up my beloved 210bhp Saab Aero vert so I'm hopeful. Driving for me is more than just getting from a to b, it's about pleasure, and I'm sure the little Citigo will give me that. Phil
