  1. I found this picture in another post (https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/221177-cambelt-change-on-2ltr-tdi-170/?page=3#comment-4455681) Can anyone confirm that this info is still valid? 180.000km without any time interval?
  2. Hi, as mentioned in my previous post I'm on the outlook for a Yeti. I am currently considering a 2.0TDI from late 2009 with 140.000km (86k miles). The dealer says that the belt was never changed, since this only has to be done every 180.000km (110k miles). Isn't there a time interval as well? 3/4/5years? Does anyone have an overview of all the regular maintenance intervals for a 2.0TDI? That would be really useful :-) Cheers!
  3. Thanks! Following your replies I went to the dealer today to have a look at the available space. And indeed, it is not so much different than the Roomster. That being said, I think that both the Roomster and Yeti should suit our needs. The reason for us getting a bigger car is not only space, but also a bit of safety. The Norwegian roads are beautiful but also treacherous with its falling rocks and an occasional moose ;-) Are there any common technical issues with the Yeti I should be aware of?
  4. Hi Guys, Currently I'm the proud owner of a 2007 Roomster 1.9TDI. Due to family expansion I decided to trade in this reliable workhorse for its bigger brother: the Yeti. My first question is what to look for with second hand Yetis. Are there any common issues that I should be on the outlook for? I got my eyes on two second-hand Yetis: - 2.0TDI (140hp - manual) AWD from 2009 with 150.000km - 2.0TDI (110hp - manual) FWD from 2010 with 110.000km They are equally priced and come with with 3mnd warranty. The first has a more powerful engine and full-options but has more miles, and is slightly older. Any advice is welcome. Cheers!
  5. Thanks for the replies, Bilstein-shop.com indicates that the B4 should fit the Roomster. Does that mean that the B6 will not fit? I am still a bit unsure about which springs to choose. I think that the car can easily be lowered 25mm. But if its just for looks, (and not performance) I'd like to stick to the current ground clearance. It might just save me my bumper :-) Any recommendations or size and brand? @keystonedriving; you are right! I have the 195/55/R15
  6. Hi guys, I am the proud owner of a 2007 Roomster 1.9TDI, currently with 220.000km on the clock. I bought this beauty over a year ago and have notice that the shocks are due for replacement. Driving in Norway means many long, dark, empty, icy, roads. So a good vehicle responsiveness is essential. On this forum I have been reading a lot of positive stories about using Bilstein shocks. I would like to have a more sporty ride, compared to what it is now. But hopefully without having to lowering the car all the way to the ground (due to necessary ground clearance). Any suggestions on a nice shock/spring combo? I currently use the standard wheels (195/65 R15) Thanks! Anthony
