Hi all,
Kinda new to the forum (previously had a 65 plate Octavia but couldn't remember my details).
Before the Octavia I had tended to have Audi's/BMWs, had a 2014 Mini Cooper S before the Octavia, but was massively impressed with the Skoda, it was so much car for the money...
I've been carless for a while but am moving out of London in January so am after a little run around which I plan to keep for a couple of years.
It must be an auto and I don't want to spend more than £3k, ideally around £2k (cheaper the better essentially).
Having realised how much car you get for the money with skida a mk1 Fabia (the odd mk2 is also in budget) is a serious contender...
The majority of autos seem to be the 1.4 petrol and there are plenty around with pretty low miles/FSH.
Is there any reason not to buy one? Any pitfalls to be aware of? Things to look out for?
Other options are fiesta/fusion/polo/jazz...but fabia seems to be cheapest...
Cheers,
Ryan
