Hello guys, so ive got a big problem, ive got like 2 litres of water in my drivers footwell, the whole soundproofing and carpet are soaked wet with water after heavy rain. Ive got this problem for 1 year, its always been little bit mois but not so much like after yesterdays rain !. I think the problem is with the panoramatic sunroof drainage. I want to check it out but i cant find the opening of drainage hose. i cant seem to find it around the doors and when i try to pour water into my sunroof its getting out from behind the wheels. Do anyone of you know where it is and where should i check for the disconnection or something ? Thanks.

Thank you guys for your answers i am planning to polish it with but i want to be sure i can buy a new one when something goes wrong, im super cautious since i damaged my old octy2 headlidhts when polishing i guess i will find some cardetailing garage and let them polish it Thank you @imikk3 for scheme i will look at it tomorrow This + instrument panel plastic they used on these cars are triggering me soooo much, such a cheap,scratch prone plastic on such a visibly place... you can scratch them using a microfibre which is insane... My whole columbus unit, even shiny trims are without a single scratch and im usings the same microfiber to clean whole dashboard so i can clearly see where skoda saved every penny, certainly on making a cheap interior plastics... Me too I like octavia 3 rs more than golf mk7 gt. It differs from person to person tho

Hello guys, i want to ask you if its possible to buy a new outdoor plastic frame for octy3 rs doors, mine on my octy 3 rs are shiny and they are made from a very sensitive plastic and they are now very scratched and its looking really bad, is it possible to dismantle them and replace them ? or did they come only with a whole doors ? I mean this :

Any instructions how to open them ? i guess i know how take them off but from which side should i push the metal flap with a flat screwdriver ?

Hello guys, ive just got into a problem (hope its not a big one) my engine (TDI) is making strange ticking noise, mainly after starting, do anyone of you know what it could be ? im too far away from home and i dont know whats causing that, do you think i can drive my vehlice safely to avoid any further damage ? : HERES THE SOUND : http://vocaroo.com/i/s1GAEHmIxuXV (Please note that ticking isnt so loud, it seems to be loud because i have recorded it very close to a source where it comes from. the engine runs louder than ticking and its barely heard when the hood is closed) i think that ticking sound is coming from right side of the engine, but its hard to localize so im not sure about that. https://imgur.com/a/5X4Wo

Hello guys, ive just found these pictures of mk3 vrs with changed buttons backlight + ambient strip, does anyone of you did something like that or do you have some DIY electrical scheme of these PCBs ? and some instruction how to take apart dashboard and doors ? It looks really cool, ive contacted a guy who did this and he asked 600euro for that, i think its too much for me because as an electrician i think i can do it myself, but i dont have any schemes of electroinstalation in my vrs. It looks cool, doesnt it ? Since my first mk2 rs i always wanted to have a different button colour but not green.

If your warranty is ending maybe you can chceck your rear suspensions, no hollow sort of pattering noise when crossing rough terrain in a low speed mainly in a cold weather ? there were problems with them on the 2014 models. Ive got that strange noise too and ive got them replaced, and didnt needed to prove it to a technician because they told me that they know its a common problem and the guy told me that skoda wanted do do a recall about them, at least here in cz/svk, but they didnt because it wasnt a big operational problem. Go and check that ! (Golfs mk7 had that problem too) You can find some thread solving that problem, here for example.

Mine does it too, on a bumpy road or when i hit pothole i think its because of an impact or something, i have an adaptive bixenons, maybe its just wobbling in its mechanizm ? i dont think you should worry, my cousins audi a4 is doing the same.

The main problem with an engine overheating is faulty water pump, ive had problems when my water temp was around 100°C, Ive replaced my water pump and the main problem was that water pump shutter was jamming, so when the pumps shutter was jammed in a closed position there was very low water flow to cool down the engine properly. Ive made a video of faulty water pump, you can see it jamming, Ive got my new water pump for maybe 3-4 months (20k kms) and its jamming again :( mk3 vrs tdi here. Okay so i updated it. AMP11_APN was skipped too. What was updated was MMX1,IOC,TUNER,RCC,SPEECHAPPRES,SPEECHRES,MUTNREF,MUCCONSISTENCY. Dont know what all of that that means. As regards the canton i didnt catch any changes. Ive got some problems before with resonating while on high volume on some songs and i think its gone now (Ive had external amp and a bigger woofer in a trunk so maybe that was causing the problem ?) Whats bothering me, when i came home i turned off the engine, closed the door, locked the car and columbus display backlight was still illuminationg for maybe 20seconds, there was nothing on a display just backlight was still on and i dont know why, happened me maybe 3 times so far, hope it will go away. It has nothing to do with coming home and iddle clock function cuz i disabled it and it was illuminating again
