Your not alone. My 53 plate Vrs started doing this yesterday after it was turned off for a short time while i was in a shop. When i stared the engine again i was greeted with all the warning lights staying on. After leaving it off for a while i restarted and only the emmisions warning light stayed on??? No idea why but this turned off half an hour later when i was parking up. Will have to see what Skoda says about it in the week. Any pointers / solutions gratefully recieved. Craig

Mike, I had something very similar happen on my Fabia vrs yesterday however under different circumstances. The car was turned off for a short time when I popped into a shop. When I restarted all hell broke loose with warning lights which all stayed on until I turned the engine off, left it for a while and turned it on again. Only the emissions warning light came on again but turned off half an hour later while parking. My local dealer is in Bristol too (Streets). How have you got on with diagnosing the faults??? And has anyone else out there got any pointers?? Thanks, Craig

My 53plate 40k VRS has the same problem. I've no idea what causes it and in six months of ownership it has not changed or apparantly caused a problem. The car is coming up for a service soon so i will see what skoda says. I don't think it is fuel quality related as I only use Shell diesel and the problem persists.
