About Me

Retired in 2008.

Bought my first Skoda (Octavia hatch) after I retired, now 12 years later I have just bought my fifth Skoda!

I've had two Fabia's, two Octavia's, now my first Superb.

But, the Superb is our 'long trips' motor, and our Scout is more our 'every day' and shopping car.

We need two cars in case we head in different directions at the same time, so spoilt myself with a Superb!

A Superb is an economic no brainer, 60+ mpg driving the 120+ miles home, £30 tax band, and the insurance costs did not increase from my previous (part exchanged) Peugeot Partner, honest.

Found the suspension in the Partner was good for load carrying (stiff!) but on our pot holed roads I got to hate it.

Fancied a Superb for the comfort, but it's even more economical than the Partner, very impressed, and back to being a two car, Skoda owner!
