  1. I was going around a right hand corner (may be coincidental) this morning and the windows all suddenly closed and the central locking activated. This is the first time it has happened. Any clues or anything suggesting this may get worse? 2013 Yeti Adventure Tdi 140.
  2. The gauge now appears to be working again. I wait with baited breath to see if it will stick on empty again.
  3. Update: The fuel gauge was showing full yesterday morning, but the car has now travelled about 30 miles singe and it hasn’t moved. Watch this space.
  4. We were empty with the low fuel light on, we filled up, the low fuel light went off but the gauge needle remains on empty . Any ideas? 2014 Seat Mii Sport
  5. Sorry for the slow update. This is from March 23rd. For four days I didn't have a single reboot, then this morning had 3 in 20 minutes. Looks like my factory reset didn't fix it. Installing V9 now, which was immediately provided free of charge from satnavdisc where I'd bought V10. Update 18th April, V9 is running perfectly.
  6. Can everyone who has upgraded to V10 share their hardware and software versions, and state if they have a reboot problem or not. It may show why some have issues and others don't. Additionally do traffic reports work after the V10 upgrade? My systems was rebooting but after a factory reset on the unit I haven't seen another reboot. Still testing.
  7. Could you share your RNS software and hardware versions, we may see why resetting has appeared to help me and not you: From my RNS 315: PART NUMBER 3T00335192N SOFTWARE VERSION 0407 SYSTEM HARDWARE VERSION H72 A good read here if you've not already seen it: https://www.gpspower.net/volkswagen-seat-skoda/347304-rns-315-rebooting-constantly-after-v10-map-update.html
  8. I may have a solution to the v10 reboot issue, but more data is required to be sure. I did a factory reset on the unit and it's hasn't rebooted once in over an hour of use. I'll keep testing, but can those of you with the reboot problem perform factory reset on you RNS 315 and report the result ?
  9. So I asked an innocent question in an informal manner and all I got was a sarcastic response before the thread was closed with little explanation. I had posted the link so anyone interested could take a look and maybe form an opinion, but I got accused of promoting a counterfeit software site. So I'll ask again, in a more formal manner, and hopefully it won't get closed it before I get any useful answers. I want to update the nav software on my Amundsen+ RN315 system, and a search revealed a company called My questions: Has anyone purchased a product from them? Is this a reputable company and will they actually send me something if I make a -purchase? Is the software genuine?
  10. ....satnavdisc.co.uk ? I'm interested in this for my Yeti's RNS315 Adundsen+ and the price is good:
  11. That fixed it ronime !! And the ECOTRAINER is present and working for our car. Garmins help desk told me there was no way to pair this unit with another car, shows how much they know.
  12. So I just bought a 2014 Seat Mii from a Seat dealer with a Garmin installed and when I select the ECOTRAINER option I get the message 'This function can only be used in the vehicle in which the device was first installed'. I called the Garmin Navigon helpline and they stated that nothing could be done to fix this. Anybody know something they don't ?
  13. Do you still have the tool ? Where did you get the activator from ?
  14. How is the lower bumper removed to make the cut-out ?
  15. You know it really depends on the type of differential as to if it would be harmful to have different diameter tyres on the same axle. I know that it would destroy the differential on my Lancia Delta Integrale, but that has full time four wheel drive with an epicyclic center differential paired with a Ferguson viscous coupling and Torsen type rear rear differential. Different tyre sizes will burn out the friction plates in the differential. After at the video below I don't see why the Haldex would be affected by different tyre sizes because it is used to simply engage the whole axle on demand. Searching around the internet it looks like the Yeti front and rear differentials are the normal planetary gear type, which should not be damaged by different tyre diameters. If I'm not correct I'd like to know more about it.
  16. Width of tyre isn't the issue, it's the circumference that will affect the differential. Here are the numbers. Looks like the 195/65 R16 is the closest. 225/50 R17 - The tyre size on my Yeti. Diameter = 657.86 mm Circumference = (πxd) = 2,066.73 mm 195/60 R16: Diameter = 640.08 mm Circumference = (πxd) = 2010.87 mm 195/65 R16: Diameter = 660.40mm Circumference = (πxd) = 2072.71 mm

  18. This kit quotes a 195/60 R16 tyre. http://caffynsparts.co.uk/skoda-yeti-4wd-spare-wheel-kit-including-false-floor.html
  19. I have a 2013 (63) Yeti Adventure with Matterhorn wheels and 225/50 17 tyres. What size space saver spare do I need to keep the circumference the same ? Thanks in anticipation.
  20. You can get the bumper cover on ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/272518775463
  21. So the parts i want to replace are the front left: Suspension arm # 1K0407151BE - Genuine £100 The aftermarket cost of these arms varies wildly, and I don't know which of the manufacturers are good or bad ? See attachment: onlinecarparts.co.uk.pdf Bearing Carrier/hub # 1K0407255AA - Genuine £220 (europarts don't carry) The aftermarket costs are all similar, but again I don't know which of the manufacturers are good or bad ? See attachment: buycarparts.co.uk.pdf
  22. I had the recall carried out and I've noticed no significant change to my fuel economy. I actually just had the best average MPG for the last tank of diesel so far. Likely due to getting accustomed to getting the best out of it. For the five full tanks of diesel I've used since owning the car I've got the following CALCULATED mpg: 39.27 39.52 39.76 (recall performed mid tank) 38.72 41.37 (today) With no noticeable difference in performance.
  23. Any ideas on the correct part number, I've found part # 1K0407255AA ? Does anyone have the eurocarparts part number, I can't find it ?
