I also got the letter today. I can see no valid reason for accepting this change. Please convince me otherwise. I have travelled 22.5k miles of utter trouble free motoring in my Yeti. Probably one of the best cars I have ever owned (I have had BMW's too and still own a Z4! for sunny days you understand ). The letter fills me full of cynicism. For example they mention Torque but not bhp - why? Noise? Never thought that could be an issue but now they mention it, maybe this has been an issue. Really? Got me digging around - Yes it can be an issue I find. Don't trust them I say. Do I worry about the DVLA - No, its not a compulsory recall. Do I worry about the MoT? - No, this is a NOx issue (as far as I Know) which is not measured in the Mot. Convince me to have the changes done - please!! OK its a (small) environmental issue but I refuse to shoulder the guilt of others who do not stand up and properly deal with the consequence of their actions. JB

Just thought I would say a hello to you all. A bit about me as is usual, I own a Yeti 110 SE manual transmission. I bought it new in 2014 and have been delighted with it from every conceivable aspect. I have owned a number of cars before. They include Vauxhall Cavalier, Ford Cortina, Vauxhall Omega, BMW 3 Series Saloon and Coupe, VW Scirocco and Beetle plus a few others. I have been to Corsica in my Yeti and "done" all the Alpine passes too. All good and a great experience. Why did I join the the Briskoda forums? Well to be perfectly honest I have just bought a VW California and joined their forum web site and got so much useful info from there I thought.....Why not give the Skoda equivalent a try....So I am. I will start with the emissions issue, but will post in the appropriate place on that matter. I look forward to meeting you all in the other forums and threads.......JB
