Main dealer has looked, heard the noise, and says it is OSF bearing. The 50/50 decision I went the wrong way on....... I hope. 2 weeks of noisey bearings before they can do it.

definately have saw toothing on rear ofs tyre, and when we had the tracking check done last week they noted that the rear ofs had a -1.26 degree camber but said they could not adjust that (not sure why). I have a real spare, although it is on a 50 limit steel, but will try it to see if there is a difference. Main dealer said I could pop in tomorrow morning for them to have a quick look to see if anything obvious.

my droning noise varies. It goes up and down between 60-70, more of a cyclic drone and then seems to go away. Had the front nearside bearing changed and that wasn't it, and has new front tyres as they were at 2.5-3, no change. Maybe I need to sit in the back as I can't tell if it is front or rear. My local Inde can't see anything wrong, although they too can hear the noise. Dealer is taking a look on Saturday to see if they recognise anything. 6 years old and about 36,000. It does sound a bit like a cyclic version of the noise rough treaded mountain bike tyres give on tarmac, so I will checks the rears for sawtooth.
