Basically exactly the same for mine. Cancelled my order a few days ago and got a Kodiaq arriving tomorrow morning, practically new.

Well, spoke to my dealer this morning and no change, no update. So I'm done, my order has been cancelled and I've bought a 7 seat Kodiaq this afternoon. 1 year old with 8k miles. It's being delivered Friday lol. The new dealer (different branch) said that the hold up on Octavia's is the wiring harnesses from Ukraine. Told me he very much doubts I would see the Octavia I ordered this side of Nov, which by going from peoples experiences on here is optimistic!

Spoke to another dealer today asking about stock cars and got told that there is nothing available at all. He also said that Skoda prioritise retail PCP or cash customers and everything is made to order at the moment. They can secure Karaq's at the moment with only 2 month lead time apparently though for anyone interested / bored of waiting lol.

I'm calling my dealer tomorrow and if there has been no movement on my Octavia, I'm throwing the towel in. I'll source something used. I can't sit here waiting for a car that might not even turn up this year when it was ordered over 9 months ago. The least Skoda could do is at least keep customers updated with exactly what the hold up is on a particular car and be able to provide realistic updates. It's not like they don't know how many cars they've got awaiting parts and what they are expecting parts wise is it. Expecting customers to just sit there patiently in the dark with absolutely no information is a joke.

Mine has been in production since 2nd week of Feb and it isn't an RS.

Yeah just saw this. No mention of the Octavia production state though....

Hi roottoot Thanks for the info. I think it's a case of how long is a piece of string at the moment isn't it. No one including the dealers seem to have a clue what is going on, which is infuriating when you get no info and told to sit and wait for X amount of time! Seriously considering whether to keep the order or not at the moment.

My dealer called on Wednesday last week, still no movement. Been sat built at the factory since wk 7 (mid Feb) waiting on some part. No idea what though. Was told best to just sit and wait rather than trying to secure another stock model if one comes available. He said that they don't usually start building unless they know that the car can be finished and shipped within three months. Which would put me at middle of May 22. How true that is though I don't know...

Have you had any further updates on yours mate? Chased my dealer again today, waiting on a reply...

Still waiting on my Octavia eTec. Order was placed Aug 2021 and got a build week of week 7 2022, but it's still sat at the factory with status of 20 (with production order). Dealer says that it's built but probably waiting on small part / checks. Been that way since middle of Feb. No idea when it's going to arrive at the moment. Think they got fed up of me chasing every two weeks for an update and told me they will let me know when there is an update! Really hoping it's gonna arrive before end of July as planning on going away on family holiday in it.
