Hi. What was the outcome of this? I currently am experiencing a similar issue. I replaced the sensor, but still registering as an electrical fault G47 front left sensor. I looked at the connections and the conditions of the wiring in the wires down to the wheel and all seem in good condition. This fault only reared its head after hitting a bump in the road... Where does the wire connect into the loom and what should I look out for? Have the car 2 years and this is the 1st issue I've had with it! (2011 2.0 tdi VRS 170)

Good advice people. Newbie here, but mechanic by trade! I'm assuming a 5 watt resistor (of say maybe 10 ohms?) wired in would do the same job? Less likely to give grief than a standard bulb put in? Or am I talking through my hat?? I might try one and see how it goes. I'll keep you in the loop if I find it works! Mine is a 2011 VRS.

Hi all. Came to Skoda world after my Audi Allroad became more of a DIY project than a reliable car... And I wish I did it years earlier. Just love my Octavia VRS 170hp. Plenty of power when towing my van, and brilliant economy for my family life too. Only regrets that I waited so long! I've made a few mods to it (entertainment system to replace Bolero etc) and I grow more and more in love every day. Ex mechanic, so willing to try most things once!
