  1. What's your experience been with this car so far have seen a few vrs for sale from this dealer I think but on research one had water in oil and was on here a lot with problems before me seeing it in his forecourt.
  2. Great work love the detail and design you've put into this really shows. Wondering how much faboka charges for his time as I'm local
  3. That's what I'm thinking, there could be plenty waiting to go wrong and is it really worth spending the 1-2k on doing it up when I can buy a less mileage one for 3/4? I've seen a black Fabia with private reg P3 UFC with a lot of mods that's probably been someone's off here that I can grab for a cheap price I've seen it posted previously in the past year and wonder why it's so cheap now it only has 130k but reckon I could get away with getting it cheap selling some bits off it and spending the earnings on rebuilding it to a better standard. Trying to find the cheapest temp car insurance for a day getting quotes of around 60£ hope this allows a car wit no insurance to be driven as I seen Cuvva allow you to insure by hour increments so it works out 14£ a hour but can't be used if vehicle doesn't hold valid insurance already which won't work in this case
  4. That's exactly my thought the previous moT show its flew threw each year but this could mean nothing's been changed and everything is still original or it shows it's been looked after and anything it's needed it's had done... It is really just a gamble I understand but I reckon it's worth the risk as I can eventually buy new parts all over and transform it into a new car Or is it worth saving the extra money and buying one for 3k with lower mileage? Don't know how to ask mods too move this would benefit from more replies
  5. Will be following this love your work up to now usually people get a standard and do all these mods you've got a modded one and reverting back to standard gives me some hope that I can purchase one for a decent price and revert it to a brand new car eventually
  6. http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/270683-wrc-body-kit-project/ There's another user replied in that thread who has turned his Fabia into a wrc rep and he seems to have photo documented it all and provides help worth a shot tho I don't know any prices
  7. I'm on the search for a Fabia vrs and have come across many dealers who are asking silly money for 100k+ mileage cars I've seen a private sale of a limited edition vrs for a reasonable price of below 2 grand but the mileage is on 208, which is only about 20k a year and can tell by previous mot it's always been driven and taken care of I was wondering wether getting this and even when the engine does go boom it would be cheaper to buy a new engine then to pay the 5g plus that everyone is asking It's either that or a black one with 140k on clock I don't mind spending a bit on more parts for the limited edition as its so cheap but the whole of the car will have done 200k will it be as reliable as a 140 or is it not that much difference?
