  1. Checked fuse and that was fine, checked bulb and whilst the filament was still intact, the base seemed very dark, almost burnt look to it. Strange thing is, all seems fine this morning with warning gone off screen and lights working fine. Maybe a dodgy switch somewhere? Maybe it just needed to reset itself? Will keep an eye on it for the next few days.
  2. Hi all I'll admit to not being technically minded at all before I start! Fabia Mk3 SE-L 1.2 110PS Warning light on screen says check rear left brake light and indeed it is not working. Have changed bulb and fuse (No.1 in fuse box I believe). Brake light still not working. Right brake light and high level brake light are fine. On one occasion, also had left reverse light warning at same time as trying to sort brake light but that seems to have gone now. Any ideas? Thanks Darren
  3. Thanks oxonboxn and SashaGrace, much appreciated. Darren
  4. Hi all Just a quick query if I may..... My girlfriend went out at the weekend and bought a 2013 (63 plate) Citigo SE from a local Ford dealership. It's only got 12,900 miles on the clock and looks a very clean car indeed for the £4,800 it was listed as. However I've noticed that it doesn't have alloys? Should a 2013 SE spec have had alloys, or were they optional back then? Does anyone have a 2013 Citigo SE specification lists by any chance....just to make sure she is actually getting an SE (I haven't seen any paperwork for the car yet!) so I can check it out? Cheers Darren
  5. My SE-L came with mats fitted. I think it is only the SE-L and Monte that come with mats included so depends what spec you have gone for. Cheers Daz
  6. Thanks all Had a good drive out this weekend trying to get used to things. As mentioned, feeding the clutch in slightly first along with the throttle keeps it nice and smooth. Even without that, have got my right foot movement a little finer now so that even if it does jump, it only jumps to about 1500RPM. Just a case of re-mapping my brain / foot combinations coming from a Yaris diesel. Cheers Daz
  7. Hi all Only my third day in my new Fabia (SEL 110) and no doubt this is just a process of getting used to clutch and throttle (coming from a Yaris 1.4 D-4D).....but what I've noticed is that when pulling away from a standing start, the slightest touch on the throttle send the revs up to about 1800RPM. As the clutch is then being fed in, it drops to around 1000 / 1200 RPM and then drive off normally. Is this little throttle 'blip' common? Didn't notice it on my test drive...but that was a couple of months ago so it may have and I've just forgot! Thanks Daz
  8. Picked up my new Fabia yesterday morning....noticed mist in the headlights this morning after getting in to work following a 30-35min drive in. Starting at the bottom corner, closest to the grill, and expanded out to, I'd say, about the full bottom quarter of the headlight.
  9. Finally picked up my new Fabia this morning. Ordered 31st October Scheduled to be build week 49 (w/c 5th Dec) Was actually informed that it was out of the factory and on it's way on 1st December. Arrived in the UK on / around 16th December. Received at dealers on 5th January Registered and picked up on 10th January with 14 miles on the clock - gotta love that new car feeling! Fabia Hatch 1.2TSI (110) SE-L standard spec (although there are lots on the standard spec list ! ) apart from addition of rear electric windows Race Blue Looking forward to driving it now..... Cheers
  10. Hi there Just a quick hello to the forum....have ordered and am awaiting delivery of a new 1.2TSI 110 Fabia SEL - all standard spec apart from the addition of rear electric windows and Race Blue metallic paint. Spent my time awaiting delivery browsing this forum - most have great things to say about the Fabia (I thought it was great on a test drive - the 110 much better than the 90) although some have minor niggles with their's - hopefully I'll be in the former group and have no issues. Ordered on 30th October, told to expect build week 49 - so hopeful of delivery before the end of the year. Car history: '04 plate Clio 1.2 petrol (from new) '06 plate Clio 1.4 petrol (from new) Am now converting from a Toyota Yaris 1.4D-4D (63 plate which I had from new), but no longer doing the mileage to justify the diesel and the DPF regen is happening a lot more regularly now I'm doing mainly short runs - I've gone from 1000 miles per month purely getting to and from work which was mainly motorway, never mind using the car at weekends etc, to now having a daily commute to work of 4 miles each way although will be using the car for work which will put another 300 or so miles a month motorway mileage on it. Cheers Darren
