  1. Is the rattle behind the heater controls? Mine went in last week to have this sorted, they moved the heater pipes under a recall, sorted it no problem anymore.
  2. I have the feeling that the ecu has been a t fault for a long time, we have had continuous electrical system failures and dealer visits. No when I pointed out the damage, they said they would check the cctv, when they had the car it was inspected by their people and the job card showed no damage. The damage had been filled(badly) and when I pointed Ted it out to them they got shirty and denied it. Currently battling with skoda UK to get things resolved.
  3. And yes, I agree I simply did what the car told me to do (admittedly I put in 2.2 gallons not 2)
  4. So far that's where I'm at, in talks with skoda UK to get my money back and get the car fixed, have had 18 months of ownership and 18 months of problems related to computer systems. On top of this they also damaged my bumper and tried to fill it in hoping I wouldn't notice and then got shirty with me when I pointed it out to them. Really do love the car, when it works, unfortunately that seems to be a rarity.
  5. Following this closely, I had the adblue error 650 miles until engine stop message last week. Added 10lts of adblue (vehicle said 1.5 to 2 gallons) which didn't reach the filler neck. Took it to the dealers and got charged 120 quid to drain 5 ltrs out of the tank! They have told me that I overfilled it causing the issue! On top of that they also damaged my rear bumper and attempted to cover it with filler! Long battle ahead to get my car fixed andy money back. And to top it off today the front park assist had packed up so it has to go back again! Losing the will to live with this car! Oh and the dealer told me that the superb has to be filled at the dealership on a computer, not to be filled by the user! Which they are happy to do at £1.50 a litre!
  6. I have just had this recall done, my superb 190 l&k was going mad and having numerous electrical issues (16plate). Drives great now, but they wont tell me what they did. Going back in tomorrow for a rattle and the adblue fault, so looks like I'm in a fabia for the next week! Recalls done to my car were listed as 46g9 and 90k1.
  7. I found that there were two areas one in each quarterlight, and each had a blue box that they connected to under the headlining. As my rear camera is stuck on to the headlining I did route it through the tailgate lid so didn't have this issue. I can defin6say though that if the cable sits too close to either of those blue boxes that connect to the aerials it knocks out dab and possibly TV tuner, by routing the cable through the middle of the boot headlining it worked fine, without extra ferrite cores (just the supplied one fitted right up against the rear camera.
  8. Hi guys, firstly thank you to all previous posters on this issue. I ran into this exact issue installing a thinkware F770 dual system in my superb 3, as soon as the Dashcam came on instant and total loss of dab signal. I installed the camera myself using the supplied hardwire kit and piggyback fuses, and ran the rear camera USB cable down the passenger (R.H.D U.K) and all seemed fine until I tried the radio. Anyway long story short I unplugged the USB rear camera lead from the front unit and hey presto good dab signal again. Following others advice I removed the USB rear camera cable from the passenger side and have just ran it down the drivers side. All fully working and great radio signal again (L&K fitted with T. V.). The issue seems to be with the rear quarterlight windows, they appear to have aerials installed in them, I routed the cable as far away as possible from these windows and the control units of the aerials and all is well. Thanks guys for saving me a massive headache!
