Thanks for the replies guys, going to keep an eye on it. Seems to be mainly be the stop/start system causing it but need to be sure :)

For me it's just what ever song is playing at the time. I use Deezer through the Bluetooth but in offline mode (don't want to eat my 4g allowance) so shouldn't be down to that as it downloads new tracks added to play list instantly :)

Hey guys, wondering if you can help... Every now and then my car skips songs when playing music from my phone via Bluetooth. Mainly happens when the stop-start function is used but also noticed when I turn the engine on and I seem to recall it once happening when I changed gear. Also noticed something else, when I was monitoring average mpg (since start) on the trip computer it changed it to average mpg (live not since start)... Any one else had this issue and know of a fix or any solutions?

Hey, I seem to recall getting my SE Sport about the same time as you and I can't say I've experienced anything like what you have :s Even in normal mode my car will wheel spin if I boot it in 1st, 2nd and almost 3rd gear! Maybe you should get it looked at? I've just hit 1050 miles so it's not like it's run in much more than yours either

Absolutely loving it so far! Surprisingly the salesman told me I don't need to run it in and in the manual it just says not to exceed 3/4 of the maximum revs for 1km...

Didn't expect that many replies this morning. gRoberts: Yeah I ordered one that was already in stock (Was at the port in the UK and ordered it to be sent to dealership on 17th Nov) so hasnt taken too long. Hi guys! This is my first post so if it's the wrong place then please feel free to move it or correct me So basically I have ordered an Octavia SE Sport 1.4 TSI and I'm collecting it Monday. This is my first Skoda, first turbo charged car AND first brand new car! So thought I'd see if you guys had any advice and/or tips for me I'm already aware of "running in" processes on new cars and done a bit of research on turbos (so I now know about not lugging the turbo lol). What else do you lovely people have for me?
