  1. Update, the brown wire in the connector block that plugs into the MAP sensor was broken. It was very close to the connector itself so it was very tricky to solder. I changed the sensor anyway just in case. Can I buy a replacement connector plug?
  2. Hello, I started my car the other day and had a dashboard chime, and the coil light started flashing. Switched off and restarted and it disappeared... temporarily! It came back a couple of days later along with the engine management light and reduced power mode. I took it to my local helpful mechanic and he plugged it in and found the following fault codes P023600 turbocharger boost sensor (A) circ - range performance P011300 intake air temperature sensor 1 bank 1 - circuit high P011100 intake air temperature sensor 1 bank 1 - range / performance. He cleared the air intake alarms, and the engine light disappeared but the P023600 remained. I searched under the fault code and boost sensor and most things pointed towards the MAP sensor and its associated wiring. I managed the remove the MAP sensor (with its fully corroded screws and impossible to access pipe retaining screw on the front of the engine!) And gave it a clean and noticed the small wire sensor part was loose. I cleaned it anyway and refitted everything. The coil light and now the engine light is back on. I am ordering a replacement sensor but what I wanted to find out was whether this is the only turbo boost pressure sensor or do I need to look for another one as well?
