  1. Tried to find the part needed from a third party supplier to no vail. Due to limited time I ordered the part from the Skoda parts dept. Ordered one day - available for pickup the next morning. Got the whole lot: Two brackets, the sensor it self, a leverage arm and a linkage arm. At first I thought this was plain stupid as I only needed the sensor. But man how wrong was I. Long story short: Ended up replacing the entire kit. This sorted that prolem. Happy car - happy driver.
  2. Finally I got around to do a VCDS scan. The problem IS the front left sensor. I belive the part no to be: 5Q0412521C Now the search for parts begins.
  3. Both of them take for ages to get back to normal height. Didn't get the time to do a VCDS scan yesterday. I will give it an other go this afternoon.
  4. My MY14 Octavia is acting up lately. Every single time the car is started the headlights (HID) is supposed to do the "headlight dance" i.e. dip down, wiggle outwards, return to the centre and finally return to normal height. My car does all of the above expect for the return to normal height takes "forever" and I do get a failure alert stating that there is something wrong with my adaptive lights. My guess is that the return to normal height is taking too long and is causing the failure alert and message. I have checked the rear load leve sensor and it seems to be intact (physically). The front one I have not yet been able to locate nor physical check. I'll try to get around to read the fault codes with my VCDS this afternoon. Any ideas og suggestions? TIA
