  1. Hi. Yes I eventually got it open by just pressing the lock and unlock button repeatedly and got it open. Let me know how you get on
  2. Yea the heater is warm when at hi setting but not hot! Is there a procedure to follow now when the system is filled to remove any trapped air?
  3. The problem only happens every few hundred miles. Drive the car Park up Come back to the car, start up and low coolant light is on. Lift bonnet and you can see that coolant has come out of the pressure relief cap. Refill and as I say wont happin for another good few hundred miles. Temperture gauge never goes above 90° Pressure test and new pump has been fitted.
  4. Problem was there before that. At a loss now Been told heater matrix slightly blocked to cause the issue too
  5. Water pump was changed couple of months ago
  6. No still trying to find out what's going on. It only happens after a good few hundred miles so surely if it was something serious it would happin far more regular??
  7. No other symptoms, car doesnt overheat etc Cap has been replaced but doesnt seem to happen as often after replacing it tho
  8. Anyone had this problem of coolant pressurising and dumping out of the coolant cap every few hundred miles? Changed water pump and cap also

  12. Hi mate where did you get this done? As I have a coolant loss at can only think it's gona need a new pump and timing belt. Thanks
  13. I have also the same problem, the light came on today again and when I opened the bonnet, around the filler cap was damp and also the small bit of metal right under the coolant tank was wet. Could the there be a fault with the cap and it's lifting under pressure and losing the fluid that way? The bottle was nearly empty
  14. Part number 7P0810773D Fitting is very easy just one torx screw and the cover and flap is off, and actuator simply pulls off Good luck
  15. I have a 2013 se octavia with standard halogen driving/sidelights. Has anyone changed these to an LED?
  16. I changed the actuator around £30 and working 100% again including locking
  17. Hi all. I have a Se Octavia 4 spoke steering wheel. Question is can i retro fit the mfsw buttons onto it or is it a no go? Thanks in advance
