It's was brilliant car for me never not 59mpg but did get well into 50s mpg on journey. I must have heavier right foot. I replaced it with 1.5tsi sportline. Not had a chance to take it on long journey yet but managed to get 47mpg on 20mile trip with heavy foot.

I use to have a se sport. It had cruise control, rear parking sensors, sat nav with WiFi(never used the WiFi) electric heated mirrors not folding, electric windows around, sport seats same shape as a vrs, flat bottom steering wheel, led rear lights and xenon head lights. I've still got the brochure somewhere but can't find it at the moment. I hope this helps you.

I've just bought a new sportline a few weeks ago. When I was looking through brochure I noticed that some octavia's with the 1.5tsi didn't come with chrome grill and get the black one and get black lip spoiler on the hatchback as well. I think the chrome strip on grill below the number plate isnt there on a sel with the 1.5tsi.

You go onto skoda website and look on there as they come black on all Sportline's regardless off what colour you have.

Thanks iam sure I will. I can get into mid 50s even when it's even fully loaded up with my current octavia so if I get the same I'll be happy.

They have added a week on the tax so iam no wasting a month's tax.

I got it for just over 23k with a couple other things thrown in. Iam happy with the deal I got.

Pick up new octavia sportline estate 1.5tsi next Saturday (30th Nov). Really looking forward to Saturday but I'll sad my se sport hatch go. It been a brilliant car and has never missed a beat over the last 3 years. Someone will get cracking car.

I've got a semi tailored cover from titan Covers. Cost about £28 for one and I think it's was £45 for the front set. They are really good quality and fit really well. I have had cheaper ones before didn't fit as well and eventually fell to bits. Can't see titan one doing the same.

I've ripped my cd's on USB stick. It's takes a while to do. My mates seat leon has a cd player in glove box were the sd cards are put for sat Nav like in the Octavia. Got told a by salesman not Skoda that cd's were old tech so weren't put them in cars yet you can still get wind up windows in some cars!

I agree with you. Love my se sport easily the best car I have owned. Been faultless unlike my last car which I seemed to back forward to garage with some fault. Only done 5k so far. I will have had a year next month

No I haven't managed to get them yet. They do look good just wish I had them for the rear sills.

Just noticed the coolant level on 66 plate Octavia 1.4 TSI is just above min level.It has done approx 4000 miles. I can't see any sign of any leaks. Could I just top up with water and keep an eye on the level or top it with coolant?

I wish I had found those for my se sport a much better length than the one I got out of halfords.

Looks like I'll have do that to get matching set. That is a good price.

No sorry they don't match the one I have.

Has anyone found out if you can get rear sill protectors to match the front ones. The ones they show on the Skoda website don't match.

I was lucky there was one ready to get shipped to the UK in race blue so paid my deposit on the 10th December and got it on Christmas eve.

It's in normal mode. I haven't played around with them yet.

Had my 1.4 Se Sport a couple of weeks has has done 200 miles. Mostly town driving and a couple of 40mile round trips and showed AVG consumption 50.4 mpg last night.

Thanks for measuring the strap. Sounds like the straps are all about the same size. I was thinking about getting more strap and clips to extend it. I will have to keep looking to what else is out there.

Thanks for the reply. The headrest is about 280mm wide at point where the strap would sit.
