  1. I have the exact same issue on a 2016 SEL. Mine only occurs after about 15 mins of running mostly, at about 60. Theres a long way between straight ahead and the next ‘notch’ due a service and MOT in March so think I can hold on to then
  2. They don’t as far as I am aware. Lights on = dash lights on. It serves as a nice traditional reminder actually
  3. That’s a shame. If you did part with it I wonder if you would sell the seats again? Thanks
  4. Hi sounds good. Can you place a picture of alloys up please? May do them with a rattle can if you are close. Where are you? thanks
  5. I went with Rockford Fosgate, if you don’t bother with the factory a pillars I reckon the job is easier. That are supplied with crossover and wiring but you still need to get a plug for the loom and new mounts as in the article linked above.
  6. Hi Bilun. Do you still have these please? Thanks
  7. No it doesn’t i will roll back though if on the slightest incline
  8. I have found that only turning phone Bluetooth on your phone on (or turning it off then on) once you have turned the ignition on by one click solves this for me. The PID seems to like to start up prior to fully accepting all Bluetooth functionality. It’s a few seconds pause to getting going but I live with that.
  9. Hi Professor, I don’t suppose you still have these do you please? holy thread revival batman!
  10. Just checked my 170 and it’s empty too - refit cover and forget is what I say! mine has never come loose - two tabs hold it down on mine
  11. Hi there, I would like a few things please. I am at Worthy Down on 14 Sep so can collect then if we do go for the shades, otherwise its worthwhile posting the small bits. Genuine Skoda clip-in Door bin - £10 Set of rubber inlays for door bins, rear ashtray, armrest compartment etc. with red Yeti logo £6. I would like to offer £30 for the rear screen and two rear side window shades please. Tailored protective seat covers (front & rear) - £30 - I am only after the front and my rear are genuine skoda so i am only interested if these are too Thanks v much indeed
  12. Hi, I have seen that great post thanks - very useful and informative particularly the specs of alloy so that I can look across VAG on the whole. Thanks Zib also
  13. Excellent point! Thank you very much for reminding me of that! case closed lol
  14. Hey gang! I am just seeing if I can call upon the massed intelligence of the dudes within this fine forum My Yeti has the slightly bigger disks - do you know if I can fit yeti suitable VAG 16 inch wheels steel or alloy to the front of my car? Ta very much honourable peeps!
  15. Yes please mate. Will send a pm
  16. Nice set there Clive. I see they are series 8, is there any chance you can find the date code on them please? have they had any repairs? Ta very much
  17. Hi mate, that's a bold offer. I'll say a tenner including post thanks - might just cover it lol
  18. Well, with the announcement of the Karoq that means that the Yeti might well retain a certain amount of pastiche and value rather than become an increasingly less desirable mark 1 victim of an improved mark 2. The Land Rover Freelander 2 for example has stayed strong since its demise in late 2014 due to its replacement being named Discovery Sport.
  19. Glenn, not that this will be any consolation but all manufacturers demonstrate this approach on run-out models. At least the trim specs seem good value when compared to when all options were available.
  20. What a great result! Long Time coming but great dealer support throughout. Enjoy

    yeti tyre time

Have you considered rotating the fronts to the back for more longevity? Even though our cars are 4x4 they do wear the front more quickly due to steering etc. I had 2mm difference front to rear so swapped and don't think that will be enough to upset the haldex. My rosso 17s are due soon too once the rotation has brought them all evenly low. Have you considered all season tyres? I have had them on two previous cars and they are reassuring in winter and the wet. I was impressed by the fact they are as quiet as regular tyres now, and wear just as slowly. I am trying to decide upon Goodyear Vector 4 seasons or Michelin Cross Climate - both are all year rather than winter or summer. They are more than £111 though of course. They look good too lol - as you see so much tyre on a yeti that a plus if there ever was one. Pic is of my wifes fiat with Vectors when they were newly fitted.
  22. Cool, do they let you know how warm it is? Hopefully you will see an improvement on your fully app too, although 39.7 is still quite good. We are on 41.7 on our 170 DSG but that is on MFD not real.

    Roof bars

As above, genuine skoda bars work best for us, fully removable, and faster than most with the reassurance those bolts secure them sufficiently well and quickly and in exactly the correct position when refitting. The main reason for my skoda bars (normally a fan of thule stuff) was the fact that the genuine skoda bars not only allow for the sunroof on my car, but they also help clear the boot lid in the raised position if you are fitting a roof box. My Halfords exodus 360 at nearly 2 m long does not foul.
