Octavia Mk IV Picture Thread
Core2Duo replied to silver1011's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk IV (2020 > )
It's the same in Norway.. Why is it taking so long? Look over to Sweden, where customers already get their cars! Lucky you @Anders74 😄 -
Brand new? When do you order? Or is it just 3 weeks delivery time to England?
-
Buy now or wait for facelift?

Ok, sorry! In Norway it isn't possible to buy the Superb with manual anymore. Just DSG. I thought it was the same in other countries. -

Oh, okay. I thought there might be several other engines in addition to the new hybrid. But what about the clutch-problems and thing with the dry DSG - is that still a problem? It's more than just the kangaroo'ing, so I don't take the risk. The hybrid is really interesting to me! + I don't have to worry about the dry DSG and kangarooing and things. Easy choice, isn't it? -

What kind of new engine is coming on Superb? I was looking at a new Superb myself, but as you mention, but I wait because I don't want the 1,5 l kangaroo, and the dry DSG... -
I really don't want to loose that button myself..
-
Then I wait! I really want this one...
-
Should I wait for the 2020 model or just book a car now? if the biggest change is only the LED and the hybrid?
-
Omg. Read my question.
-
Does someone know what kind of changes that comes to the new Superb 2020 compared to today's model? Any new engines? DSG? Interior, equipment etc? I know it's a little bit changes on the design. I really wonder about ordering a new car, but should I wait for the 2020 model?

Yes, ok. But are there any numbers for how many DQ200 DSGs are made for example? And how many of these have trouble with the DSG? I read on the forum here that in Denmark 98 % or something DQ200 boxes was working without problems. Of course, 2 out of 100 dsg boxes with problems is 2 DSG boxes too much with problems. But it's not such a large number? And dsg must be a lot better now, than dsg in from 2013/2014/2015, or? I reckon they have improved the DSG since then?
-
Thank you, @Too Tall Yes, I read a little about the kangarooing, as you mention. Good to hear that they work with some new software. I'm going to investigate what you mention about changing oil on this DSG. I know there are some transmission specialist in Norway as well, but there are few of them, and Norway has long distances. In Norway, we have warranty for 5 years or 100.000 km (62.137 miles) on the car. Funny that you writing this, I just say to my girlfriend that no one with a perfect DSG don't write that down on a forum, as you mentions.
-
So still same ****, you mean? No improvements?
-
Okay. Is it a big risk to buy this one then? The 7 DSG dry box has been a lot of failure with. Is this something that belongs to the past, or is it still a problem with this 7 DSG? Still no service on the DSG 7?
-
Hi! I can't quite figure this out. I wonder to buy a Superb 1.5 TSI 150 ps. Which DSG box is in this one? Is it the infamous dry box that has been a lot of trouble with? Some say all of today's 7-speed DSG to Superb is wet, while others say this is not right. Someone who has the right answer?

Hi people! I almost about to buy a new Superb. But I am really thinking of the digital dashbord. I dont think I like it, so I think I not will order this. What you guys think of the digital dashbord? Do I lose some features if I not choose the digital dashbord, or is all the future on the digital dashbord also on the Columbus?
-
Yes, I have the same problem. I'm gonna call the dealer tomorrow and ask if there is some fix to this. Good to see (not in a good way) that more than me have this issue.

Where is the Webasto Reciver?
Core2Duo replied to Core2Duo's topic in Skoda Superb Mk III (2015 - 2023)
Anyone? -
Hi. Is there someone who knows where the webasto remote reciver is placed in the car? I try to look at it, but I can't find it. It's a MY17 Superb Estate.
-
Hi people! Does anyone know where the Smartgate in the MY17 Superb is located? I read that I can try disconnect and connect the Smartgate to reset it. Does it work? I try to connect it, but my telephone just find DIRECT-SMARTGATE_123456. And 123456 is not my last number in the WIN-number. When I try to connect, I just get wrong password... :(

Haha Do you have a link?

Hi people! Someone who know what's wrong with the camera? Allmost all last week I get some message in the Amundsen that the "parking sensors are currently unavailable." The park sensors works fine when I get this message, but my reverse camera will not work. It's not all the time, maybe 50/50 working and not working. Today I dodn't have any problems So, anyone else with this problem? What could it be? Thanks for all help!

I looked at the coolant level in the car, and it is entirely down to minimum. Could this be why Webasto will not start? The factory fills well only on minimum liquid on the car to save money so that it stands on the minimum does not surprise me... So, could it be so easy?
